| The gigantic arachnid-like beast gave out a shriek that echoed throughout the Bowl. It thrashed around, kicking up soil into the air until it collapsed on the ground. It remained motionless as a thick, colored substance oozed out of its eye.
The Gohma Queen was dead. Shrubbery Jaku: Croikey! Y’pulled out the miracle shot! Fayette Enformi: I can’t believe it! It took just that? I thought it was a lot stronger than that! Shrubbery Jaku: Tha’s the thing, Emfermi. It was the miracle shot! The once in a lifetime shot at the right place, at the right time! Fayette Enformi: Well, it made this whole ordeal look like a joke. Now what? Shrubbery Jaku: Well.. S’pose we go and see the Great Deku now… -------------- And just like that, the barrage of Gohma spawn on Johnathan had finally stopped. They were laid out on the ground, with half frozen body parts. |

| Glenn: Just a moment!
Glenn moved around to the tail-end of the Ghoma Queen and quickly pulled some items out of the pouches on his belt. One was a pocket knife, which he used to slice open a particular section of the Ghoma Queen's tail. The other object, a bottle, had a label on it with a picture of a cow and "Outset Ranch" written on it. However, it didn't have any milk in it currently. Glenn held the bottle up to the opening he had just made in the tail, and as he squeezed the tail the bottle quickly filled with a thick purple liquid... Glenn: Concentrated Ghoma poison. He carefully placed the cork back on the bottle, wiped the knife on the outside of the tail, and deposited the two items back in their respective pouches. |

| Glenn: Like I already said, a friend of ours was poisoned by a ghoma. We need the poison to make the antidote. A normal ghoma doesn't store much poison, so I wouldn't have attempted to extract the poison here, just remove the tail and take it with us to extract the poison later with more capable equipment. A Ghoma Queen is a different matter, however. This will be more than enough for our needs. There's no need to worry about leaving the Ghoma Queen like that, either. With the tail gaping open like that the poison will quickly oxidize and have no use, as a poison or as an ingredient for an antidote. |
