Johnathan had ridden up beside them, his concerns for that boorish swordsman replaced with his desire to keep Mitra safe from harm. The shack as it stood seemed completely deserted, but the kidnapper was in there, obviously. Johnathan got an idea... "Stand clear... I am going to destroy the door. If he has some kind of surprise attack planned, I do not want to be a part of it." Johnathan concentrated for a few seconds, and the humidity in the desert air condensed and covered the door to the shack in a sheet of ice. The ice cracked, broke, and dispersed, and with it went the door... |

| The cannonball went right through the line of the milk brigade, as Nova had decided to call them, as they dodged around it, and kept going in his direction. As he dodged beside it, Nova threw out a rope which caught onto the cannonball. Holding on tight, and with the assistance of the great sabrecat's forward momentum, the cannonball swung around as Nova used the force already behind it, and he launched it right back at the shack, where it tore a large hole in the roof before landing several dozen yards behind it.
Nova: Well, always good to have another entry point, I always say. |

| Ignoring the bastardization of his name that Hikari used, Johnathan turned frantically aside as the cannonball streaked past him, and off in the distance watched as one of their trailers actually CAUGHT it and tossed it back at the shack. Johnathan was dumbfounded.
Johnathan: "He... He lassoed a cannonball?"  |

Hikari turns her head. Her surprised epression was replaced by irritation. Hikari: Hey! Watch it! There's an innocent inside!! Burly Man: ... That was pretty fancy, but let's see it again, partner! The man quickly reloaded another canonball into the canon, and prepared to fire. |

With that, the man on the sabrecat changed his trajectory to go wide of the house, out of the cannon's arc of fire, and continued the charge. |

| Nijote: "Stay away from the shack for a few..."
Nijote was speaking to her horse as she lept up onto two feet and launched herself towards the shack. She landed on the roof gracefully, even though she felt that it was about to break, and held a vial of liquid. She threw the liquid inside through the hole the cannon ball made and jumped off the shack. Smoke quickly filled the shack, although it was harmless, getting oxygen would become a challenge if the cannon-crook stayed in there. |

| Hikari: What're you doin'?! Mitra's still inside!
It was at that moment Hikari decided that she needed to take matters into her own hands. She pulled out a tiny dagger from her right boot and rushed inside the hut. Burly Man: *cough cough* Smoke's not gunna stop me! Hikari: Then how about some metal? Hikari moved her hand across the burly man's chest, with a flash of light trailing behind the hand. Crimson liquid flew into the air as the kidnapper toppled backwards at the sight of his own blood. Hikari: Mitra, come on! Hikari grabbed Mitra's hand and pulled the dancer out of the shack. At this moment, Hikari was gasping for air. Hikari: Ya'll a bunch of insensitive brutes, I swear. Mitra: But Ah'm so grateful everyone came to save lil' ol' me.  |

Nijote jumped off the shack and she heared her mare cry out. Nijote looked over at it as it came close. She jumped on and waited. She, suddenly, had a bad feeling come over her, much like she was about to puke. It passed as quickly as it came, leaving a bad taste in Nijote's mouth. |

Mitra's the only medical person in Kakariko Gulch, so they figure they can make themselves a nice rupee off of her. The red head then glares at Nijote. Nijote smiled slightly, it wasn't her job to deal with Mitra's friends and others. She wasn't going to regret taking this job, but it wasn't going to be as simple as any other job. Nijote: "It's fine though, if she manages to stay fine, I'll recieve more rupees than you could carry around with eight horses." |

| Nova: I understand that very well, but I've never been one to just let trouble come to me. I like to go to the source. Whoever hired you to protect her probably has some idea about a greater threat to her...and why she's in so much trouble. So it's really in your best interests, as if I take out whoever's threatening her, protecting her will be pretty easy. | |||

Hikari: You're talkin' rather friendly to folk you've never seen before. I reckon you're the one that needs to be checked on. A young man, riding atop of a powerful, brown steed, leapt out from seemingly nowhere. The horse nearly trampled Hikari, who was busy leaping out of the way. After the interesting hit and run, the man continued off to the north. Hikari: As soon as some nut comes rollin' to town, the action won't stop for a while. Hum.. did you see the ponytail on that fella? .... Mitra! Hikari soon realized that Mitra was swept up by the same horse rider that had just appeared out of nowhere. It seemed like Glenn's words were short lived. Hikari: Not again! |

Nova, still mounted on the sabrecat, decided not to press the point, and took off after the man on the horse. That Mitra was picked up again so quickly made him wonder what more there was to her...but it must've been big. |

| Nijote didn't waste any time. She chased after the man, ignoring Nova's questions. She didn't have much time to waste. Mitra just got captured and Nijote was screaming at herself in her mind. |
