| Based off the conversation over here, we got to playing a close variant on the original Scorched Earth right here.
Plays fairly close to the original Scorched Earth and is based off Java. Very simplistic in design and is probably a definite must if you've played Gunbound but never saw what was the original Scorch. What's nice is that the games are password based, so you really don't have to worry about lamers being around and openly screwing with games like you would with Gunbound. It's a little less in features but a whole lot more close to the original and, I thought, way more fun. So yea, we played a few rounds. Anyone else want to game on this some time? |

| Iīm definitely in to play Scorched Earth 2000 sometime when I donīt have anything else to do.
I havenīt played Scorched Earth for a while but Iīve played a game called Pocket Tanks thatīs very similar. You donīt buy weapons in that game, though. |

| When you register, you pick your name/password.
When you join a game, you sign in with your name, password and GAME password. So say Hiryuu starts a game with the password "milly"... that would be the game password. |

So, if weīre going to play, howīre we going to notify other people? PMs arenīt that good because we arenīt always at the board so itīd take time to wait. Everyone doesnīt have MSN and I donīt have mIRC or anything else on my computer. |

| I don't think I'd have a problem getting AIM/MSN s/n's for this. I'm on allow but I'm probably clueless to at least two people's IMs who've posted in here showing interest.
And I KNOW Tarale's known about this site before me. She admitted to it last night. Then again, she had the Gunbound ava going for a while back so I guess that shouldn't surprise me.  |

| Some people use both AIM and MSN but it seems to me - at least from experience - that AIM is basically the official IM service of the board.
I look forward to huge multi-way chaos if we get this off the ground.  |

Oh man, I was only in there for two rounds, but it was hilarious. I managed to dodge a funky bomb and annihilate xkeeper(i think) with one and in the next round I killed Colin with another. I accidentally hit the side forward button on my mouse which goes to the next track in iTunes but did it before I switched from lololol to that. So I had to sit out.  |
