| What turns people on or off should just be their own personal business. If i want to view porn from time to time, finding the experience enjoyable it is really nobody elses business. And if you want to avoid it like the plague, that is none of my business. At the end of the day it's just sex, and i dont see how its a societal problem. When people are forced to watch porn they dont like, or the jesus-police bust down my door and take my stash, then its become a societal problem. I dont think its come to that yet. When you say you have no attraction to a nude female i have to wonder about whether you are actually a straight man, because for me its an automatic reaction to become turned on when i see a nude female posing provocatively (unless she is unattractive for other reasons, such as being really old or sickly or whatever). And if you are'nt straight that's fine to, and really none of my business (i have a good friend who is gay).
I believe that we have put WAY too much thought into a nude human body, it is only natural, there is nothing wrong with nudity. Saying there is something wrong with nudity is like saying there is something wrong with being a human. |

Porn is a problem when kids who haven't even reached puberty find it in their bedrooms. Porn is a problem when a middle aged woman finds it on her computer because her son abused her computer by looking it up and saving it on a computer that wasn't his to abuse. I mean seriously. There are times that I go weeks and maybe months without porn then there phases which is like an everyday thing. The whole 'cool' or even 'fun' factor died a long time ago. So, I will basically try to cut down on it. Once every two weeks, if possible. |

I thought you had a problem with nudity, because you said we have a huge out of control porn problem, when i dont see that we do, and the only way i could understand that was to think you thought any nudity = porn = big problem. People who are wasting their time surfing porn at work get fired, so then that problem is solved. Most places monitor what you do on a work computer these days. That's a problem which is already solved in most places and will be completely eliminated everywhere before you know it. What kids magically find porn in their bedrooms? That never happened to me!  A woman finding porn on her computer due to a teen-age or older son should have seen that one coming, most men (even if you are'nt included in this), have a very strong sex drive, ESPECIALLY in the teen years, and will naturally be curious about sex. Looking at porn is one way to satisfy that curiousity. But really, finding porn on a computer is not exactly the end of the world, its just a lecture. He should have encrypted it |

You keep assuming things that I never say. I NEVER said I wasn't attracted to women, I just said I wasn't attracted to NAKED women. I am attracted to girls, and I have a sex drive like every other guy my age. I just am not attracted to naked girls opening their vaginas for cameras, and I'm not particularly attracted to naked girls in general. The girl I like right now? I don't want to see her naked. Not in the least, and I'm dead serious. I want to hold her hand and cuddle with her, sure, but I'm simply not interested in naked women or sex right now. You're allowed to question that all you want, but please don't assume I'm gay simply because I'm different. I'm not accusing anyone here of being a pervert just because they look up porn, now, am I? I know it's something people do. I'm merely curious. I never said porn was a huge, out of control problem, either. I just said it seems to be a problem in our society, and I clarified by comparing it to cigarettes. It's an addiction, and addictions often lead to bad things. And I'm friggin' sorry for everyone who 'can't compute' that porn doesn't turn me on. I'm sick of people telling me I'm some weird, abnormal freak. I haven't said anything negative about people who DO look up porn, have I? Only the same thing I'd say about someone who smokes too much or drinks too much--I don't think it's healthy when it controls a person as opposed to the person controlling it. I don't get why just because I think porn is disgusting, people immediately assume I'm gay, or something. Earlier today, one of my random friends on MSN Messenger was trying to send me porn, and I told him to stop because I thought it was disgusting. So, immediately, he was like, "Oh, you're gay?" That's like assuming that a black person is a criminal just because they aren't white, or something. And if I implied that just because people look up porn, I think there's something wrong with them, I don't. The guys in our dorm started an accountability group recently. They're all good guys, and that doesn't change just because they look up porn or masterbate. Likewise, it doesn't change who any of you are whether you do or don't. | Nay, I'm not having that problem. My problem is that naked people don't turn me on. Period. I don't see why people keep accusing me of weird things just because I'm different. I'm weird, and I know it. It seems to me like I'm being treated like finding naked people unattractive is a problem, after all of this about how porn isn't a problem.
I have seen real people naked before, right in front of my eyes. I simply don't get aroused. That's all. And porn is simply strangers naked often doing ridiculous poses, all of which turn me off. If I wasn't good at distinguising real from unreal, then I'd have a serious problem, now, wouldn't I? I'd go and shoot people in the head because I play too much Reisdent Evil 4 or God of War. And what are you talking about, anyway? Porn from real people? When is porn a fake person? Like, hentai? That's fake. But seeing a naked girl in a movie--that's still a real person right there. So I don't exactly get what it is you mean by that question. Do you mean more normally proportionate people? And I'm not getting upset just because of this on this thread, it's just that this is how I'm being treated by other people, too. Like, we're at a lecture about sex and marriage, etc., and the guy says, "Nothing is more attractive to a man than a naked women." And I'm all like, "Well, does that mean I'm not a man?" and that's annoying--not angry at anyone, just annoyed. Or a friend on Messenger tries to send me porn, over and over, and I keep telling him not to, and he immediately assumes I'm gay just because I think porn is disgusting. And you might be saying, "Well, yes, this IS a problem, because when you get married and want to have kids, what will you do then?" Of course, this could still be asked concerning someone who looks up porn, because sometimes the same problem will happen--the person will be so used to porn that a normal woman doesn't do it for 'em. Besides, I'm not interested in sex right now, and it doesn't matter whether or not I'm attracted to any naked woman if my wife is beautiful to me, right? A) Give you a psychological reason, or B) Give you Viagra to see if it's even possible And besides that, your doctor is (Or should be) your closest confidant for stuff like this. It's his job to make sure you're ok, not to make fun of a stupid question. Don't be so defensive. Did you see anything aggressive in my post? Maybe that last part, but if you really can't get it up, then it's a serious problem. If you just choose not to, then thats entirely fine. Whatever floats your boat, man. I'm not here to judge you. Always remember that nobody is your judge and your stress level will be decreased ALOT. Believe me, it works. Plus, porn is written and directed to entertain sexual drives, but that doesn't mean everyone will be enticed by it. Some people have fetishes, others just have distaste for watching porn. Precisely...and by saying that, you're again implying that there is something wrong with me that needs 'fixing,' and I'm sorry, but I find that rude. I've already said this, but maybe you didn't catch it--I am attracted to girls, just not when they're naked. I DO have a sex drive, and I DO get turned on my girls, but I simply don't find naked girls attractive. I don't see how that means there's something wrong with me. And I'm not defensive because you were aggressive, more than you came off as insensitive. Maybe that's my fault because when I feel like I'm being judged for something I'm not or someone thinks there's something wrong with me when nothing is, I get agitated.
