Oh, right. I haven't done the Graphics section yet... Damnit... How to edit graphics: 1) Make sure that Options > Use Joined GFX Files is checked 2) Click on the red mushroom button in LM. (Decompresses all graphics and writes them to a file) 3) In the ROM's directory, you should find a directory called Graphics. 4) In Graphics, there's a file called AllGFX.bin. Open it in a tile editor. 5) Make the changes and save. 6) Click on the green mushroom button in LM. (Reads the new graphics, compresses them and inserts them to the ROM) |

| When opening .BIN files, you need to manually change the graphics mode to "4BPP SNES". It's in the list box right below the left pane. | |||

| Make a save state in any level with a standard SMW palette. Then load said state into YY-CHR. Scroll though the palettes using some buttons (I forget where) until you see the proper palette for the Koopsy.
EDIT: misread your post EDIT2: If you actually want to change the palettes, you need a program made by Smallhacker called Sprite paint. I do believe it is on http://smwcentral.pure-text.com/ (edited by RPG Eater on 02-03-06 04:32 PM) |
