| I'm trying to transfer beautiful backgrounds from another hack; I extract from the hack i want graphic from. example: "BG: B2" is a pyramid BG, so I open up the ExGFX folder in this particular hack; I copy it; then I paste it in my other hack's ExGFX folder, and then I open up that hack in lunar magic, and press the yellow mushrrom, so after that I press the Poison Red mushroom icon, and change the BG anfd FG to what I inserted, and it's all garbled up, and I'm furious, because I want some beautiful things in my hack, can anyone tell me what I did wrong? | |||

You'll need to use the map16 editor to get them to turn out right. And as a side note, if you can't find the graphics in the workshop, give credit to the person who ripped it originally.  |

| Howexactly will Ineed to use the Map16 editor please guide me guys! I'll already give credit to peter_ac who personaly gave me his demo hack to copy from!

| Go to the page you want to extract in the Map16 editor, and press F2. Move the files it creates to the same folder as your hack, open your hack, go to the page you'll insert to, and press F3. | |||

| Ehh... there is a faster way, open your hack in LM, and open his hack in LM, then go to the coresponding map page, and use ctrl+click ctrl+right-click to transfer, it makes it easier to keep the map pages clean. | |||

there is a even faster way, press F5 to export all the FG map16 and F6 to import them( It didn't work for tileset specific map16), and for the BG use F7 to export them and F8 to import them, and don't forget to press F9 to save after  (edited by Bio on 02-01-06 05:35 PM) |
