Nice Qbasic program. Where did you find the compiler? xD

You technically should be able to use it as a screensave if you make it react on keyboard input or something. Most screensavers dosen't seem to be really diffrent from regular programs.

This was actually pretty entertaining. The projectile gains more power the more it bounces on the walls.

Can I increase the power and how do I do it?

I love things that use the PC speaker to produce sound because I can't adjust the volume. That is a huge turn-on for me (ladies, take note!).

Fun, though.

Oh yeah, the PC speaker thing.

It actually reminds me... how sucky the PC speakers are on new computers.

Really sad indeed.

(though yes, on certain computers you can adjust the volume on the "PC speaker". Such as on my laptop... where a such speaker don't actually exist so all the "PC speaker" sounds are emitted through the regular speakers. Fun.)

yes, I made that on a laptop that only has normal speakers too, so I could adjust it at will.

Duly noted. For great justice?

That's a cool program. It reminds me of the funky bomb from scorched earth way back when I had my first computer.

GREATEST MULTIPLAYER GAME EVER.

Yeah, I remember when I played that game many years ago. It was fun but it didnīt work properly on a fast computer.

That was exactly what I thought about when I started Xkeep's program.

Seriously. My old 286 could kick any new PC's ass with their 'standard' PC speaker anymore. That thing blared loud and proud.

Though, DOSBox does emulate it rather well through one's sound card which you can use the volume control against.

EDIT: Dogan, I still play that from time to time. It's on my comp via version 1.5 and I emulate it using DOSBox often enough. Change up the TALK1 and TALK2 CFG files for more fun.

Last time I checked, Scorched earth runs fine with the latest version in Win XP without any emulator.

And apparently, it's released for free nowdays... and it had a webpage somewhere.

Runs with no sound in 2K for me.

Sides, the emulator is pretty close to what I would've played with on a 286 or 386.

Well, when I first tried Scorched Earth at home, the game went way too fast or way too slow. I got it to work properly after a while, though.

Had to play it on our old 166mhz computer.
