No,n the ROM gets corrupted to the point that it just shows a blank screen. But, an interesting thing to note, wait a few seconds when the blank screen is on and then Mario will show up in tears and will scream, "WHY, ED THE ROBOT!? WHY!!!!!" | |||

Wow, you guys are dumb!
Ed: sprite editing is still fraught with pitfalls, as some regular sprites will glitch if you change the "unused" sprites. This is because the game still uses the sprite number to retrieve some data, and not just the ASM pointer/flags. You have to do some manual tracing and ASM hacking to fix these problems. |
