the only thing I know is I saw a Game Genie code that read: Mario drives without benefit of a car I can't remember what it is. |

009E32A9 009E33A5 009E34EA 009E3585 Mario drives without benefit of a car Those are PAR codes. I think they trick the game into thinking Mario is riding on Yoshi, when he isn't. The Yoshi graphics don't appear, and I don't think the tongue works. |

3. Change the GFX. 4. No, not without a lot of ASM hacking, or not without increasing Small, Cape and Fire Mario's X-Speed too. This Mario Kart project is obviously not going to work out, Neo. Just give up before you waste any more of your or the board's time. |

I know that, because when I was recently tweaking RAM stuff, I got that to occur when I set it to that mario was riding yoshi, but has a null value for what color it was. so maybe you CAN have a car, but you would have to get rid of the tounge.
