I will.

I can do fairly good title screens, so I'll re-make your title for you

Um... That overworld looks a bit too much like the old one for my tastes, but I like the way you used the smoke sprite...

It's got a lot of unused water space. The gravestones are still good though.

It's not really supposed to use all the space. traditionally, sets of islands have a lot of water, don't they?

As for my overworld looking too much like the old one...

Let's compare...

I'll give you one thing: The plateau on world 2 is quite similar to that of world 1 in the original Super Mario World. Outside of that, though... Uh... They both go clockwise, I guess. But that's it.

Nah, I never thought your OW looked anything like the original. It just seems empty. You could add some random islands like the island in the northwest corner in the original SMW map, that exist only to fill space.

Your improvement is a huge step up from the old version. A lot more detail. Good job.

Next item up for bid:

Edit the cliff sides so black lines run down from where the grass changes direction. It makes it look alot better. (although its not a PERFECT example, see the original OW to see what I mean.)

And whats up with those blue 'hills' in the water?

...Also, Try to keep the 'castle number' Signs near the castle it is meant to be with.

I put lines in on the more important curves. Just putting it on all of them makes it look quite ugly. Alhough it's not a PERFECT example, see the original OW to see what I mean.

Small icebergs.

They're all very close

Actually, he's pretty right about that - your miscolored iceburgs do kinda suck. Remove 'em.

If you're still wondering about that level I was going to make, don't worry. It didn't really work out, so you're safe for now.

Just for the hell of it.

Without lines

With lines

Which do YOU think is better?

a href instead of img src because these are around 775 kilobytes and I don't particularly hate 56k users.

Why did you make the lines all wiggly? They would look better strait.

Because he said (more or less) that I should use the original Mario World overworld as a guide. It had most lines wiggly. So this has most lines wiggly.

And you're wrong about it looking better. It actually does look better when they're not all straight.

And no I am not getting a screenshot of that.

You could always attempt a cliff side style similar to what I did in JAMH.

Lord knows I could do that. I definitely have the room in tiles I will never use.

However, I do not believe it would fit the style I want.

Juggling Joker, those kinds of cliffs are pretty much specific to your style of tile-making. They'll turn out fine in hacks that need the filters to look good, but as for everything else...no...

Unless you mean to adapt a realistic style. Which, in that case, it would take a hell of a lot of work for it to look right.
