To be honest, I'm a little disturbed by how willing everyone seems to be to assume someone's who's a "player" or someone who engages in casual sex is not a good person. I used to never fool around with a girl or anything unless I was in a relationship with them, and even then I took it slow... but after hurting a lot of people and making a lot of girls unhappy, I have since changed my ways. I've been in open relationships and have engaged in casual sex, and in no way does that make me a bad person. I don't take advantage of anyone; I make sure the girl is willing and perfectly happy before anything happens (we talk about it), and the last thing I want to do is make anyone unhappy.
I'm still the first person any of my friends comes to if they need to talk or need advice on anything, and so far everyone has been happier, which is really the most important thing to me; making people happy.
Guys who take advantage of girls and use them and such are not good people, but don't lump all of promiscuity into that group. |
