Peanut butter is USUALLY good in chocolate bars. USUALLY.

The one exception would be combining white chocolate with peanut butter. Thanks a lot, Reese's.

Man what is up with white chocolate anyway. I thought it was supposed to be, like, chocolate, but it sucks. I've tried white chocolate things a few times and it always ends in tears. Maybe it's acceptable if it's just mixed in with/drowned out by other flavors (like real chocolate). Maybe.

Speaking of holiday candies, I think valentine's hearts are like the best candy ever. The rest of the year Necco wafers suffice, but they're not quite the same.

I hate the Valentine's hearts candy. They have sweettart versions too, which I love, cuz sweettarts are my favorite non-chocolate candy. Really good. If I ever get the regular necco hearts, I give them to my mom. She loves Necco.

I like White Chocolate, unlike some of you. On the other hand, I dislike dark chocolate. Too...how to say...spicy. So to speak. And those cinammon valentine hearts aren't THAT bad. They grow on you after some time.

I used to be appreciative of chocolate in bar form. I used to be a sucker for Mars Bars.

Now I'm too much of a "chocolate snob" and I don't eat chocolate in bar form anymore. Chocolate comes in truffle form or block form and comes from boutiques. It is expensive, so but that's okay because small quantities of really good chocolate are enough.

My tastes vary from white to dark chocolate, but I eat more dark chocolate than any other variety. 70% cocoa is where it's at.

However, as we are discussing this.....

I used to adore Mars Bars, and I used to love Cherry Ripe bars. I think Cherry Ripe are something you only get in Australia, but it's essentially cherry and coconut covered in dark chocolate.

I have tried Hershey's and didn't like it. I have tried those Peanut Butter Cups and really... I don't get it. I didn't like it.

I've tried chocolate from the US and the UK and I really wasn't fond of US chocolate. It's too sweet and sugary and the consistentcy isn't as creamy as the UK chocolate.

I still prefer my Australian boutique chocolate or my Swiss chocolate over both though

I´ve tried white chocolate and it´s really delicious. Almost tastes better than regular chocolate.

I also like dark chocolate but only up to 70% cocoa or so.

White chocolate isn't even chocolate

Sure, it's based on cocoa butter, but it has none of the cocoa solids. The consistency is completely different and worse and bad and dumb and bad. It doesn't taste horrible but it's no chocolate.

Yeah dark chocolate tastes awful. But white chocolate is alright, I just don't really like it. But points to the person who mentioned the other toffee bar.

White chocolate is horrifying.
And Rocher isn't anything special to me. It's actually kinda gross. Truffles are good... but it's not something I would buy for a snack.

I'm not fond of Fererro Rocher. It's okay though. I would eat Rocher before I eat Cadbury's, Reese's, Nestle, Dove or Hershey's.

Out of the more well-known brands, Lindt is good, Guylian is good.

My favorite chocolatier (Haighs') went and studied with Lindt so it's the "Australian Lindt". They are quite similar, although I think I prefer Haighs a little bit more. I also like a little boutique called Swiss Glory, although their chocolate is a bit sweet, their truffles are devine.

The highest I think I've ever seen is 85% cocoa, but yeah, that stuff's awesome! So deliciously rich.

You know it's better for you than any other kind of chocolate too, right?

Oh, and a Fererro Rocher is not a bar, it's.... if I remember correctly, a hazelnut praline covered in a round biscuit shell with chocolate and peanut bits on the outside. They're little ball shaped thingies.

Ball shaped, you say? We´ve Chocolate Peanuts in sweden. It´s peanuts covered in a ball of chocolate. It didn´t have that shape last I bought 'em, though.
