I don't think a complete editor for smb2 will ever be made, I remember last year reading that Keitaro was gonna update Dreamweaver for SMB2 SMAS support. Dreamweaver has the source code available...

And the second smb2 editor is The SMB2 Transmogrificator. That editor also has the source code available. It's like Acmlm's SMB2D but a lill more stable in my opinion. Maybe one day in this lifetime one will be available, but I ain't holding my breath.

I'm not sure when this was uploaded, but Don (the author of Dreamweaver) told me about this in February of 2006, it's the most updated one he knows of. Might check it out as unlike the other source codes, his is well documented.

Here's the link: http://www.kaejae-worx.com/users/don/files/code/smb2ed.zip.

I hope this is of interest to somebody, as I used it as a means to figure out how ROM addresses are manipulated by an editor.

I've looked for the past 20 minutes, give or take 30, and wasn't able to find one. So either nope, it doesn't exist, or there's a group of castlevania editors out there that do as good a job evading the general hacking community as most Sonic editors do.

If you mean Superstar Saga, then no. Unless you count TLP, YY-CHAR, and your everyday hex editor, or course.

Merged in http://board.acmlm.org/thread.php?id=5353. As said in there, it is better to keep the number of stickies low. Remember second incarnation's SMW hacking?

NES
Castlevania / Stake
Megaman / Rock and Roll
Metroid / MetEdit

SNES
Chrono Trigger / Temporal Flux

SnowBro's site doesent seem to have MetEdit available. Should I delete the direct link to the file?

Linking to the actual downloads isn't permitted on a few of those sites. Linking to the download page would probably be better.

AlexAR: Added.

Darkdata: Not sure about this thread also applies to common editing tools beyond specific game editors.. but I guess it could be uploaded if you put it in the above-used format to save me work.

A while back I caught wind of an editor for the game "Contra", maybe its still a WIP or not. Any info? Also a "Snake Rattle 'n Roll" editor would be awesome, but I doubt it since I never hear a thing about that game.

I have 3 questions-

1. Is there a Super Mario Land 2 hacking program?

2. Is there a Wario Land hacking program?

3. Would there be a way to mix them together in 1 hack?

1. I remember one being in the works, you may have to search for a beta editor, though.

2. Nope.

3. With time, effort, and programming knowledge, possibly.

It's right here.
