It's like Acmlm's SMB2D but a lill more stable in my opinion. Maybe one day in this lifetime one will be available, but I ain't holding my breath. |

No one made any Megaman X level editors yet. I think someone around here should start looking for data.

As far as I know there was a Megaman X Editor in development, but it was never officially released. I don't even have a copy cause I think I knew who was working on it...

I've never posted in the ROM Hacking forums beyond criticizing the occasional hack. Forgive me for this.
But I want to know... Is there a Kirby's Superstar editor? |

Hey, instead of GOOGLE, go to www.dogpile.com (the link button dosn't like me). It has lots of search engines (including Google) squished together, and searches them all at once.

Is there an editor for Donkey Kong Country 2?
Of course there is, I'm developing one. I'm not sure when I'll be releasing a beta version of it to the public. |

I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that this thread's name was being changed to "BLATENT *insert game* EDITOR ADVERTISEMENT*. =P
Perhaps after having a finished product/beta and releasing it to the public, you could post on here to tell the public that yes, a DK2 editor exist. But telling people that you got one going with an undisclosed release date is pretty useless, really. Sorry if that sounded negative in any way, just me interpreting the purpose behind this thread in comparison to your post. |

If it was advertised I would of advertised my 2 editors in here too...I agree...but, there is the point that they now know there is an editor for DKC2.

But not in the public yet, that's the point that I'm trying to make.

I'm gonna try to look for SMA4 data if it's possible. E-reader levels are very important. I hope someone could make an editor as soon I find them all.

I know there was an editor for Solomon's Key in the works, the editor was coming along pretty good but then there was a nasty bug that would mess up the ROM when you would save a level. I forgot who started it first but then a person by the name of Oman picked up the editor to finish it. (The version I have is v3.7b) was this editor discontinued?

Originally posted by insectduel I believe SMA4 e-reader levels aren't actually stored in the ROM. Besides, level data isn't the only thing needed for an editor. You need stuff like TSA data, palettes, location of graphics, and other such stuff to make a level editor. |

I did find everything in SMB3 Super Mario all-stars except for the TSA's which is extremely difficult to decompress. I did find some e-reader site where you get the levels from. But I'm not sure what the .level files do. I think it's best for me to look for levels designed in the ROM first before the e-reader ones so I could learn better.
Afterward, then the Palettes and the other stuff that comes to me. (edited by insectduel on 04-15-06 03:10 PM) |
