Okay, how do you use layer 2 on the title screen to create it? This 8-bit title screen thing is killing me.

All you have to do is delete the layer 3 stuff and edit the intro demo level into your new title screen. I think it's level C7.

More speficially, edit the demo to have a long wait at the title screen, erase the tiles in the title screen, and edit Level C7 to have Mario off the top of the screen. Then, use ExGFX and Layer 2 (the background) to insert your 16-bit title screen.

OR

You could set Layer 2 to have priority in the Map16 editor, place it in, set Layer 2 to not move, and then have a layer 1 level and you can make Mario move still if you want.
