Videogames, deep-fried foods, objects (i.e. CDs, toys) that function to "hurt people" as a goal will be taxed 100%, abortions $10,000 per participating member; use of 'other governor' propaganda*; general all-around dumbassery

(warning : very gory image at bottom)

(* a 3% increase to the tax over a period of 4 years would result in a total of 12.550881% increase; 30 years would be only 250%, which, when adjusted for inflation, really isn't that bad)

Yeah, that image might go over well in Texas but I didn't care for it.

From what I read, this guy Locke is a longshot to win the election in the first place, so don't worry about it. Seems like a real yahoo.

This commission shall levy a 50% of price of sales tax [GREASE TAX] upon all food prepared by deep-frying or cooking in any form of oil or grease for human consumption

Someone tried to go through a similar law here. And of course, most thought it was stupid.

POLITICANS NEED TO FUCKING PLAY THE VIDEOGAMES INSTEAD OF BEING FUCKING XENOPHOBIC. Grrr. Oh well, you can probably fool them into thinking that Oreos contains marijuana. ~_~

Oh well, at least we don't get same stupidity in Sweden. Abortions is legal, and there's no heavy cost involved. Violence games have a age limit, but the discussions about violence stopped around with the time of GTA (orginal GTA), then people just got used to it here I guess.

I'd be amazed if this guy got any meaningful amount of the vote. Complete lunatic.

Won't people who eat to much fast food be weeded out of the gene pool?

Till the only thing left is a super race who can take whole cattle herds worth of burgers from the enemy and still fight?

According to some Texans over at PA Forums, the guy is a total whackjob. He isn't even on the ticket.

He's just an old man with a vendetta on the young.

I hate how people are either pro life or pro choice. There's always this annoying dichotomy with everything. I only support abortions if they are threaten the life of the mother. Forget taxing. We need better management of money. Like for international disease control, energy sources, etc. Even countries like Pakistan(whose people have an average salary LESS than India's) have fuel cells aplenty, especially in Karachi.

Uh, that pretty much is an anti-abortion position.

Just saying is all.

Yeah, not to second guess you, but I think you'd struggle to find a single pro-lifer who doesn't support abortions in the case of threat to the mother. Even the Vatican, the Catholic authority on this and essentially all matters, makes an allowance when the mother's life must be sacrificed to save the child's; in such instances, it is not immoral to trade one life for the other, if such a trade had to be made no matter what.

You know a lot of the pro-choice people don't even like abortion. They just think that the mother should be able to have the choice.

I fit into that. Just use contraception if you simply don't want a kid. If you want a kid, but it develops horribly disabled or poses threat to the mother, then abortion is ok. I think it's wrong to abort for the simple reason of not wanting a kid, but I also think that it is still the parent's decision.

Contraceptives don't always work, you know (hence my existence). Most people in the US use protection.
