Do you write the dot above the i..
Because the way you write the letter i says something about your personality.

This is just something I thought of while being slightly bored at work. So, to add to the pointless polls of Craziness.. here goes: At what point do you write the dot above the i?

I picked Other.

I don't use dots. I just a smilie face for every single letter that uses a dot.


In all seriousness. I picked 'Other' because I use a combination of dotting the 'i' after I write it and before I finish the word, then in probably an equal amount of times I finish the word then dot the 'i'

But I make damn well sure that 'i' is dotted.

I write the bottom part of the letter first then the dot, but before finishing the word (I don't write in cursive usually).

I usually dot it after I write the letter, but before completing the words. Exceptions include, but are not limited to when I am signing my name, and when I'm writing very fast.

This gives me the nice bonus of having lots of umlauts.

I put the dot over the i immediately after finishing it. No exceptions.

Speaking of the letter i, an uppercase i looks exactly like a lowercase L in many fonts. Funny too, because you can often bypass the censors of (lame) boards that have them if you do that.
