7AM to 4AM one day a few years back is pretty much my record/limit.

I still manage to get 7-8 hours of sleep every night, which is pretty good considering I don't exactly go to bed at 11PM like my parents.

The longest I've ever been up for was 41 hours. I was getting ready for a vacation and couldnt sleep at the first chance I got.

Incidently, I almost stayed up all last night watching Back to the Future 2. That's pretty much the only reason I stay up late anymore besides the internet; that is, to watch late-night TV.

I've actully been awake for 2 days strait now, but i'll probably go to bed tonight.
Considering you'd be completely delirious after the sixth day (and suffering from hallucinations after the third, I do not believe you.

Thats bullshit I have stayed up for 11 days, sleep doesn't have the same effect on everyone. One of friends stayed up for only 2 days and came into class like a freking nut job. I actually have a bad case on insomnia, I lose track of time and the days start flying by, I think better when I stay awake for days. But I have read about people losing their minds, one was a radio host who was doing some charity crap and was staying awake for 10 days, on the 10th day he lost it and ran down halls naked scared that people were going to bury him, but like I said not everyone is affected by sleep the same way.

I stayed awake for six days once.

Not really hallucinations, but your senses get exagratted. For example, the ceiling fan looked pretty dangerous.

The latest I've stayed up is until 5 in the morning. There hasn't been any all nighters as of yet, but there's been close. I don't see any reason to pull any even while in school. I wasn't much of a crazed studier or obsessed with something to the point that I'd have a reason to stay up .

You´d be like a zombie.

I like it when people cite sources when challenged instead of simply going into defense mode and throwing out random crap.

I do it nearly every weekend. Stay up till 5 or 6 AM. Sometimes I don't sleep at all.

My record was 72 hours, and yes, I did hallucinate. The floor was a cloud, and the walls were moving. By the end I just had this incredibly weird 'drained' feeling; I didn't feel tired or exhausted, just empty, like I had no energy at all. Hard to explain. Even something as simple as pressing the buttons on my SNES controller felt like way too much effort. I decided I should just go to bed at that point.

You know, if I was like that I´d just give up and fall asleep where I was standing.

And I think it´s a pain to pull off 30 hours.

I'm not an all nighter. 2:30 am is the limit after I watched South Park or if my eyes are wary if I went to work and tries to sleep before waking up for work.

I pulled it off at M4GFest a couple weeks ago, actually. A DDR tournament was supposed to start at 10 one morning (It didn't, but that's another story), it was about 5 that morning, and I said "fuck it, if I'm gonna have to get up in four hours anyway, I may as well stay awake."

MORAL OF THE STORY: Naming Link "Bitch" in A Link to the Past makes all the dialogue 80 times better. The highlight comes during the second Agahnim fight, when he says "Ho, ho, ho! It is wonderful that you could come all the way here, Bitch!"

I've gone until 6 AM a couple times, but went to sleep after that, so I don't think those technically count.

Well i'm not gonna have you call me a liar. I know what I've done, besides who the hell would lie about something like this. And how am I going to cite a book I read 1 1/2 years ago in a Public Library?

I'll probably have to pull an all nighter.

Have to read a book.

BUT the book is incredibly boring.

I can read 30-35 pages in 10 minutes, but those 10 minutes seem like they are 1 hour.

Only 370 pages left.

You can fall asleep for a couple of seconds and not notice it when pulling an all-nighter.. or multiple all-nighters. I'm not sure what it's called.

And apparantly you can start hallucinating if you stay up for more than three days in a row. You can, not saying that you necessarily will. My friend stayed up for a week straight to see if he'd hallucinate.. and he didn't. I know it's possible, I just wonder what the odds of that are.

I actually have this book about dreams that has the story of the radio host who stayed up all night. He only stayed up for three days, and on the third day he showed signs of hallucinating.. talking to people that weren't there and such. So he slept, and the symptoms went away. Strange. I wonder if it's just an urban legend.
