I've done it many times. My no-nap record is 38 1/2 hours, set freshman year of college. A few years ago, I tried to stay up 48 hours, but I tanked hardcore at the 36-hour mark. Time slowed to a crawl and I was falling asleep in front of my favorite video game, so I gave up and went to sleep. I was going to try to go for 48 again over winter break because I had stayed up all night to catch an early flight and was doing a pretty good job of keeping awake, but I was also getting sick, and I thought forced sleeplessness would make things worse.

I do have this strange habit of getting very little sleep on Sunday night for no reason at all. Last night, I slept about 3 hours. It doesn't seem to bother me any, though.

The longest I've ever been awake is from, I think, around noon one day until around 4 or 5 the following day.

Sure, lots of times. After doing so, the following day is usually a slow one; one where I feel like I am constantly half-asleep - and somewhat lightheaded. I can still function, however. However, I have been unable to go more than one night without sleep. I usually don't do them anymore, either. The last time I pulled one was when I was hell-bent on watching a TV show that is on early in the morning. I didn't trust my body not to go back to sleep after I turn off my alarm clock. Maybe I should electrify it slightly or something.

I had to pull an all nighter in order to finish my portfolio for an art competition. I had already finished seven pieces and had one left ... I started the project at two in the morning and finished it at 6:00. The time leading up to that was spent on other homework and paperwork for the competition. I ended up being one of two people to pull it off, and it was certainly worth it for both of us.

It ended up being around 38 hours straight. But the previous two nights I had been running off of three hours only. It's interesting ... I was actually less tired than I was the day before. I was driving, too, which kind of freaked out some of my friends.

I'd have to thank Adult Swim and a soda for that.

I've done like 43-44 hours (maybe more, I dunno) like last week.

I wasn't tired the last day, but then the next day... that was hard.

Considering you'd be completely delirious after the sixth day (and suffering from hallucinations after the third), I do not believe you.

Yeah you do start seeing shit on the third day, those are especially cool, way to have "trips" without using drugs.

So true.

I swore to my friends that I was talking with my friend 'Steve' that day. Of course Steve moved away like 4 months before so just imagine that.

Till this day, I don't remember 95% of that Friday, the day I had to turn in the Psychology assignment.

Most of the memories are just a blur of stuff, most of it is probably fake crap I just made up to occupy space.

Heh, that reminds me, Alastor. I remember someone who stayed up that long partying before. He started freaking out, seeing things around the end of the second day into it. And according to him that was "before they got out the drugs." Crazy guy. After that, he said something about eventually falling asleep during sex. I somehow doubt that, though.

Actually it is entirely possible to fall asleep during sex. Everyon'e body has a physical exhaustion limit and when they hit that they immediately shut down and don't remember it.

Late work shifts, procrastinated studying, homework assignments...I've pulled a few in my day The next day was always the worst for me. I would sometimes fall asleep in school after that, I'm just lucky I'm always a quiet girl so I probably don't draw much attention I don't do all nighters THAT much, but it does happen...it isn't something I enjoy though.

Well, Acmlm did see two catgirls, one mom and a daughter talking to each other after he did a all-nighter or something.

I feel quite strange after pulling one, and I go between being very tired and hyper but I yet have to get hallunications.

I assume that you already know that too little sleep makes your immune defence weaker. Thatīs why you get sick more easily.

I was pulling all nighters almost every week while in college. Its pretty easy for me to do as long as I have something to keep myself busy with, but it sucks overall. I like to sleep.

One time mom was being an ass to me. When she said go to bed I didn't listen to her.. I pretended to be asleep until like 11 o clock to make sure she was asleep. Then, I went back on the computer... When she woke up at 7 she asked me if I had any sleep. I lied yes.. I am not sure if she believed me or not...
