Clicky sample

So, that's what I cobbled together, but for some reason when I put it into edit profile, the text field gets to big in both directions, and as such the background begins scrolling along with the scroll bar.

Any ideas why?

EDIT: Nevermind, figured it out, miss a line break that turned into a BR in a place where it should not have.

PLease for gods sake make the text wider. It seems that if you had that layout i would be scrolling forever.

Baka. If he did that, it would corrupt the visage of that most definately heterosexual warrior in his layout. Too seck-say, Tommathy =D

Pretty good; I'm likin' it so far.

Readability is really the most important element. Scrollbars are bad, but when there's that little room

Re-adjusted text field, it's now 92% of the size of Kawa's.

Also, reduced the font, so it should be alright now.

Except it doesn't stretch to fit the window. If you made it do that, you could make the text box sooo much bigger. Try it.

Well, the original image is 800 pixels wide by 600 tall, but I thought that'd be a bit excessive, so I reduced it to only 650 wide and I forget how tall (cropped out some stuff from the top, bottom, and right hand).

Or did you mean that I should cut the image into two pieces, text field and picture field?

That would be for someone else to answer, because I know nothing about making layouts. I can only tell you how it looks for me. I hope someone else knows what I mean.

However, I noticed in another thread that someone's layout is messing up the scrollbar on the right in my browser... lo and behold, it's yours. The scrollbar in your post replaces the scrollbar in my browser. I'm hoping that can be easily fixed...

Edit: yeah... I'm not the only one experiencing problems. Apparently it's worse for other browsers. I'm gonna remove it until this is sorted out. Sorry bout that Tommathy.

'Scuse me, but this thread exploded...

Theres a faulty line of code somewhere... can we have it fixed... or just, not have it at all?

Edit: Please leave the scrollbar out until the code is fixed

Okay, I've removed them as well as your post in GC... lets see if someone can help you figure out what's wrong. I wish I could help, but I'm a dum dum with this stuff.

I just removed it the style, although I did do it incompletely in one post by accident, which 'cause the explosion.

Just switched over to IE, I'm not seeing any other issues.

I'm not either now, lets see what KATW sees when he returns. I didn't see any exploding going on... just the scrollbar problem that you took care of.

WE'RE ALL GOOD!

But if you don't mind... you could find the posts you made with the screwed up code and fix it. Save me the trouble, and everyone else viewing the pages.

In Opera at least, the text goes out of the text box a bit. Now good...

Also

I do not particularly like to look at penis. Please change that picture.

Penis? He's clothed...

Well, mostly clothed.

He's atleast as clothed as Ran-chan's girl, they're both in one-piece suits.

Also, I'm using Opera version 8.51 and the text appears to be in the correct dimensions. It all fits into the 275 by 390 box I defined.
