Differences between SMA2 & SMW

The Intro Message is different

SMA2:

Welcome to Dinosaur
Land! It seems that
Princess Toadstool is
missing... and that means
Bowser must be up to his
old tricks again!

SMW:

Welcome! This is
Dinosaur Land. In
this strange land
we find that
Princess Toadstool
is missing again!
Looks like Bowser
is at it again!

Luigi runs around Mario on the intro screen. But in SMW, Mario is standing there alone regardless
of choosing 2 player, Mario always stands there alone.

The cave in Yoshi's Island 1 is different, there's a mesage block & a mushroom down here.

There's 3 message blocks in Yoshi's Island 1

When you kill a chargin' chuck with fireballs, he leaves 3 coins

When you beat a switch palace, the message
is different

SMW:

-SWITCH PALACE-

The power of the
switch you have
pushed will turn
( ) into | |.
Your progress will
also be saved.

SMA2

-Switch Palace-

The power of the
switch you have
pressed will turn
( ) into | |.

Yoshi's house in SMW has 7 berries and in SMA2 the house has 10 berries.

When Luigi hits one of those 10 coin blocks in SMA2, all the coins come out.

The music in the whole game is different. You can tell that by listening just to the music.

The message that the message block says is different

SMW

Hello! Sorry I'm

SMA2

When you play as Luigi & riding on Yoshi, you get to spit out enimies that you can't spit out.

The 1up/2up/3up/5up is bigger.

( ) = out line of a ! block
| | = a ! block

You forgot that when Luigi hits one of those 10 coin blocks in SMA2, all the coins come out. I'd check for more differences in the game but my SMA2 is corrupted and will restart after I turn off the power meaning I lose all my prograss. You can also check out GameFaqs to find some more differences between these two games. I'm sure that have them.

Only one I can remember offhand that isn't on there is that the item layed by Yoshi when he eats 10 berries is different depending on his color. But in any case, you can find all the differences in the FAQ at this page. That should be all you need to complete your list.

You forgot the most easy to notice, when hited while cape/fire Mario you go to big insted than small, also the item in the item box will only fall when going from big to small. I made a patch to include that in SMW as you can see here

Hey Mario and Luigi have voices in this, whenever you start a level they say 'Ready to Go' or something, or when they die they say awww mama-mia!!
