| Oh wow, I can't believe I haven't seen a topic on this yet.
It's been around for a while guys, up to 64 episodes since yesterday. I know at least one of you has to be downloading it every week like people do with Naruto. |

| I drew parallels to Inuyasha and Yu yu Hakusho; pretty good action, good animation, but it seems overrated; it's nothing phenominal that I absolutely HAVE to buy, but it is pretty good. Drifted in and out of sleep during the series at my friend's all night anime fest, so most of the plot is lost on me. Demons, and one kid who's a Soul Reaper, or something like that, and how he has to send all lost souls to redemption or something along those lines.... | |||

| There have been several threads on bleach, just not one on the *NEW* board. I've been keeping up with it. Something that I find unusual about it especially in the beginning is that the anime is a lot better than the manga. As I've said many times before in previous incarnations of this thread, the characters have a lot more life when animated. Which is a big deal. Especially when a large amount of characters are revealed so quickly. Which brings me to my next point, Bleach makes the characters somewhat more lovable and memorable because what is tied to them aside from their characteristics are their relationships to each other. Like Soi Fong and Yoruichi, Ukitake and Kyouraku, Hitsugaya and Hinamori, etc. | |||

| I've seen (and read) the beginning chapters/episodes of the series. It's good, not great. One thing that I have with this series is that I'm not a fan of his work in general. you guys ever read zombie powder? oh, man. Stinky. The main character was almost a complete clone of Vash the Stampede....except that he had a giant sword.....and its edge worked like a chainsaw.....

Sorry if I'm bumping an old thread... I just came here. Discovered Bleach a couple of days ago from a friend of mine, she gave me episodes 1-12 on CD-R. Didn't have time to burn the rest of her set, so I just said I'll download the rest (which I am). 
Awesome series, now I can't wait until I can watch episode 13 and beyond.
Also I don't know how some of you dislike the series :/ Eh to each his own, we can't all love the same thing, we can't all hate the same thing. |
