I have one, but I've never solved it. I really screwed it up upon opening, so I couldn't follow any of the patterns they tell you. That's okay though, it's fun to mess around with every once in a while.

I've never had good spatial sense, so I've never even solved a rubik's cube. I also lack patience, so that also prevents me from doing it.

On-topic, I imagine at this rate, someone will break 10 seconds in 5 years. Wow.

I'm asian and I'm not even that good I can solve one of those, but it takes me a little while, you know? ._.;; it isn't very easy, you've got to think about it the whole time because every row you turn effects another one of them.

Why would you ever do the stickers thing why
I don't know why it bugs me so much when people mention the stickers thing BUT IT DOES
Because it just seems like a humongous pain in the ass compared to prying the cube apart and snapping it back together. You have to keep 54 little stickers all nice and neat as you take them off and reapply them? Seriously that is the worst thing ever.

But if you can get the stickers thing right, it's better than the prying it apart method. That way, you don't need to use as much force or any special tools. All it takes for the stickers is long enough nails.

I have a screwdriver on me more often than I have long nails.

You, maybe. Not everyone has a screwdriver on them that often. But there are other tools you can use to get the stickers off. And that still doesn't change the fact that using a screwdriver is more cumbersome that using the stickers.

Like I previously stated, taking apart the cube seems a bit easier and less time consuming than the whole sticker thing.

I mean, eventually the stickers will stop sticking, and then you will have to get glue or something else to have them stick.

Or the stickers begin to fall off rendering your cube useless.

I solved one once. It took like an hour. I also got to the last layer of them where I only needed to get 3 corners right about 8 times that day. I was bored to say the least. The first two layers I got down to like 15 minutes eventually... that was like a month ago though so I dunno how well I can do it anymore.

Uh, you donīt have to asian to be good at that, you know. I mean, asians are usually quick with their fingers but that doesnīt apply for everyone.

So itīs not your fault, really.

If I recall, there was a vid (I'm thinking it was on AFHV) showing someone with their head underwater and solving the cube behind his back, hands unsubmerged, in 50 seconds.

Not as impressive as 11 seconds mind you but...seriously...wtf? And I thought I lacked a life.

Yeah. Many of them are smart but not all. At least itīs not a bad stereotype.

More liek I can't see the cube, mirite?

But it's very possible. After all, they are the Asians. They've done things in worse conditions than this. Oh, and I tried to find that video you were talking about, but didn't have any luck with it.
