And you totally should, or if anything make the gfx and try to pawn level editing off on someone else lol I'd probably do it after optomon and I are done with the hack we're working on.

Cool, whats the TIME and OFF though? I'm guessing that OFF is Offset? Perhaps for the sound so it sounds different?

Makes me wonder, would that hack work on a console Hapi-San?

TIME is timezone, for the day/night palette cycle.
OFF is music pitch offset.

Unfortunately, right now no. I need to do some modifications to my use of SRAM before it'll work on a console.

O_o OMG....Wait, what's with the last options after FZ (Final Zone)? I know that SS and NSS are Special Stage and Nega-Special Stage, respectively, but what's ABL and FSS?

My guess is that FSS = Final Special Stage.

As for ABL, no clue

Video's are cool.

Here is a preview of the next Ember Hack update. It shows me playing on a custom map.

Not if you're 56K.

That makes two hacks that'll take forever to watch

How are you playing your hack? I didn't think the ROM could be played on flashcarts, if that's what you did >.>

When I'm not hacking YI, I'm most likely playing TESIII: Morrowind because that game is so damn awesome. I recently decided to try my hand at making a mod for it. I have devoted about 10-15 to it so far, and managed to make a forest, cave, and a bunch of quests, along with a nice town

Welcome to the Isangloom Woods Region. Enjoy your stay.

(note: screenies may be a little dark. Turning up your brightness for a few seconds should solve this)

The Forest

Nothing like some Scribs, and a lake. Hooray for jelly!

The Cave

Looks like someone didn't finish their study here

Comments?

Looks to me like it's on a flashcart being played via the Nintendo Gamecube GBA thing. Also, that looks awesome RadioShadow.

What I meant, was that Advance Wars 2 usually crashes if played on a flashcart of sorts :/

There are usually fixes for that sort of thing. Because pirates like to play games they pirate. yarr.

Here are some screenshots of 3-1. I was about to start on 3-3,but I lost it so I had to do some of it over. I found this new pallette for the background, but I don't know if it makes sense b/c it's supposed to be a jungle so maybe it's in the night. Let me know if you have any comments or if you think of anything else. I need help w/some level names, and I'm looking for someone to help me test the game to give me feedback. Ok,here are the screenshots.

Beginning of 3-1 If you play my game, you will have to find out to get some of the flowers. Tell me if you can figure out how to get this one: I will give you hint,if you want. It's not that hard, but there is water. There are also some hidden coins where the rolling goonie is.

These are all from the second part in 3-1.

Can you figure out how to get the red coins? Well,it's not as hard as it might look.

Nice screens. What's with the Green Coin, though? Also, in all of your last pics (the ones with the sky background), the BG palette is wrong. You need to fix that.

In fact.... The palette is wrong for ALL of the screens! In the first screen, it's only the foreground that is wrongly-colored- The dirt is mint green. It's supposed to be light tan/brown.

Well I mean he's allowed to make the colors any way he wants. That's sort of the point of Rom Hacking. I think that the clouds in the last three shots look kind of nasty though.

Damn 56K users. At least the video doesn't play automatically. I find the best way is to play the video, pause it and let the video fully load before watching. I can't do much about that I'm afraid.

To answer you other question, I flashed the hack to a 128MB Turbo GBA Flash card and played it on the Gamecube Game Boy Player. Its nice because Flash cards work on them.

I know some AW2 US roms have a hacked into on them. But these can be removed by applying a patch. I also know some some don't work when data is changed.

But AW2 works on the GBA flash cards I have previously owned.

A new screen from SM: Redux.

Super missile look like normal missiles. And the block under them is a grapple beam block.

No big up date but any way.

The green coin in EggVine is actually a glitched thing, and messes up the sound, so he really shouldn't be using it

Also, there's nothing wrong with the FG. Sure, the BG looks a bit tacky, but the FG looks fine.
