That's looking great Hapi-San. Question though, does the Warp Tile warp you to a specific location, somewhere entirely random, or just the beginning of the bonus level? I'm thinking that if you can make it take you to a specific location, you can do some cooler bonus areas that involve like warp mazes and seperate areas. | |||

If a picture is worth 1000 words, a movie is worth 1000 pictures... I like the ending tune. And is the Fire Shield (the thing that prevents damage from lava) a new feature or it's in the original game too ? I'm not very familiar with the Sonic series... |

So this isn't a HUGE update, so I didn't feel like posting in the Chorus of Mysteries thread. Here's some new item sprites I made up.
From Left to Right: Laurel (replaces clock, when used it will give you invincibility), Holy Water, Axe, Dagger, Jar (ends the level, based off of the HP up jars from Symphony of the Night that appear after you beat a boss), Big Heart, Small Heart, 1up, Whip Upgrade. **EDIT** Forget about that whip upgrade. Tweaker, that was a pretty good video.
My only thing about your hack is that you switch the music in Misty Maze act 3 from Planet Undertow act 2 to act 1, PU act 1 music is okay but I like the act 2 music better. Keep up the good work! Also, the sound of when you get a Super Ring from the box sound it came from a mid-1980's arcade game. |
