Some tiles made for some game, because the old tiles just really sucked.

some night-city-themed nes tiles thrown together quicklike.

test for bridge and cliff tiles, also ladder/stairs

Cool! By the way, what games are the last two screenshots from? Also, what in the world is "Mr. Miner"? I've never heard of that game...

It's presumably a custom-made game. I don't know what it's all about though; care to explain setz? One issue I see is that the gems are seemingly in a box, which looks ugly.

Oh. Cool! I haven't seen any of those... unless you count those odd games like "Mario Adventure"....

It's basically boulderdash, the gems and whatnot aren't transparant, so I just stuck them in that background.

download thread for Mr. Miner on GU. the graphics I made for it - which would be extracted into whatever directory you installed MrMiner to, and just over-write everything.

^ Those were the original graphics.

The last two screenshots are just tiles I threw together, the top will be used in a FF hack, the bottom, I just wanted to make some night-city themed graphcis for NES, you don't see much of that.

For a second, that Mr. Miner guy made me think of Cartman...

I like the pic with the stairs, by the way. The shadows on the cliff look cool.

For some people, Pokemon are pets.
Others use them for battling.

...you don't wanna know.

I suppose the noun up there could be different, but is that the relevant part?

There's a thread at RHDN talking about a RoboWarrior editor, it's still in it's work in progress but it's an easy to use level editor. I hadda restart the hack though, since I was only poking at it. Anyways, here's a preview of the intro level.

I'll make a full hack of this game, when I get more free time again...

LEVEL COMES WITH FLASHING FG ZOMG

I know what you mean. I used that in 1-8 of my game. Did you find it out by yourself? b/c I dont think Golden Yoshi used it. He told me not to use it b/c it looked bad,and it made the graphics glitch. I just use it to make some of the castles look more scary.
I think it will look good though, but I found out it sometimes it makes the messages disappear on the message blocks.
Also, I think I agree w/the person that said why you used the witch on a broomstick in that castle. b/c he was used in the end,and that made the game kind of frustrating sometimes like it was hard to get things. Do you use him for the whole thing? b/c maybe you shouldnt, but make it long and hard so people will feel like they want to quit. However,I don't think you should use it to make Yoshi fall down a hole constantly and to have to get keys,if you know what I mean, but that's just my opinion. You can do whatever you want. I think you should use the flashing foreground.

Are you using Custom Sprites for the Spiny and/or Green Cheep-Cheeps? I've always wondered that, since they all (Spniy, Green, and Red) go left endlessly. I'm fairly sure that the Spniy Cheep-Cheeps are Blurp Fish, but I'm not sure about the Red and Green Cheep-Cheeps....

The spiked fish is actually a Blurp Fish, and goes left enlessly. The red Cheep Cheep is just the fish that goes up and down, and the green is the fish that goes back and forth horizontally. I just changed the palettes in Tweaker.

This is actually one of the few levels that doesn't have any custom sprites at all.

Ok, I'm almost ready to release my mushroom cup demo - with a guide to how I changed the AI. It's taken a little longer than I'd hoped due to a recent promotion at work - so my time has been spent learning some new stuff for that rather than about SNES ROMs (boo!) So a few more tweaks and then I get writing..
