Setz, your Castlevania stuff=sexy. I'm really loving how it's coming out. I like the headless guy.

**Edit**
Hey, I just noticed that two pretty CV hacks are coming straight out of Pittsburgh, awesome.

Here's a pic of my Astyanax hack.

I might as well finish this up, since I have three more levels to finish and change the text...

zOmG!!!1!1!

I changed quite a bit on the OW, believe it or not....have a list for free

-Colour of dots on bottom changed from red to brown
-Two new icons - 3-1 and 3-8....and just what is up with 3-8? Hmm....
-New font on level numbers and signs on bottom
-New shape of world tabs (yes, believe it or not)
-Most level icons have a new palette to suit the level
-Bandit in 3-7 and flower in 3-Bonus are now frowning.

That's about all. They may be minor, but it's a start

Working off/retexturing a horrible conversion done by a WAD2MAP program thing. I will never finish this.

The fact that there is such a thing as a wad2map converter is pretty cool itself. A faithful Doom Source port doesn't seem that far off.

Life's in teh shitter currently, but:

Most of this was done about three hours after my last post. It's been, what, a week?

In any case, all of the overworld graphics have been remodeled. Also, now Blue Moon's units are facing the opposite way akin to the newer Wars games ^^ I've taken a look into the level format and haven't found anything 'sides it's not uncompressed. Combine that with my rather limited skill and I don't see any data any time soon, if at all. But I am almost finished with all the main graphics and plan on making a nice new title screen if its TSA isn't lmited. Some other random junk as well~

Some Famicom Wars stuff:

The level data for the first level is at 0x10056. The (what I presume to be) header's for each level are at 0x10012. The header is made up of 4 bytes. The first two bytes I don't know what they are, but the last two bytes are the pointers to the actual level. The header data runs all the way to 0x10055. The pointer table for the TSA data is located at 0x1B2E9. The TSA data's format are the four bytes that make each 16x16 block, followed by the byte that controls which palette to use.

The title screen is located around 0x493C, and it looks to be slightly compressed. (RLE, quite possibly)

Yay :]

RLE shouldn't be a real problem considering A: the amount of tiles and how the title screen was originally comprised and B: I plan on having something... more "concentrated."

EDIT: ... How did I miss this ._. Myabe I should've payed more attention when I was looking (or actually try): the level data seems uncompressed, from what I've messed with

Heh. I logged in just to post about Famicom Wars.

Celice, that looks cool..I never bothered with Famicom Wars, but nice job retro-porting Advance Wars 2's graphics back to it...and the palletes aren't too mutilated either. I could actually probably stand the oldness if the map wasn't as eye-bleeding as it is in the original.

But damn...they really have kept some of those maps for over 20 years. ;
