No need to be off-topic when there's a topic on that VERY QUESTION IN THE STICKIES.

I hate you all.

I don't recall the sideways waterfall from playing this 12 years ago, so for the sake of posting I'm gonna presume that you made it. How do the cross currents work? (aka, does Mario start twitching in the spot when at a place where waterfalls meet?)

I believe sideways waterfalls were featured in one of the lost levels. They were fully functional, too.

If that's the case (good job, BTW), then the answer to the question is... =P

Sorry, my bad. Let me put it this way:
...................................l
If waterfalls cross like <-V---
........................................................l
And you happen to be standing here <-X---

Will you simply go down and left, or will you start twitching in one spot? A minor question really, but I had fun drawing the sketch. =D

Setzer, I can't recognize the game...
Is that a hack, a homebrew or just a mock up?

Got bored, opened YYCHR.

The Mario was edited by Toni Barra, with a few little adjustments to fit as a SMW sprite.
The mushroom and flower were edited by me.
The block looks kinda crap, but the ? Block looks OK, which figures that it's not in the shot. It's basically the NES SMB3 block with SMAS shading.

Nothing spectacular, but it looks OK. Not sure where I'll take it. Probably WILD AND WACKY places.

Mock-ups for characters. I'm still keeping (at least trying) to the NES rules as much as possible until I actually insert them.
