Oh, well if we're going to play THAT game...

Main character, probably missing a few frames and some polishups. Small sprites edited off the Squished Rex.

Partially completed tileset for Ye Olde Bigge Citye. The reshaded text and DDP sprite is for a Doki Burger joint. And the recoloured/shaded RCR dustbin is... uhh... a dustbin, I guess. Still have to do a background, but that won't take much work.

And I got bored a while back and tried to edit Reznor sprites to replace the Dino Rhyno. Then I decided to edit the Mini-Rhyno into a baby Reznor. Didn't QUITE finish it though.

Interesting, the main character reminds me of BMF's SMB2 hack characters... the City tileset looks great too.

The pallete is a tad bright when compared the previous shots, but it looks good for a wall

shall i introduce the game's unused large plantet graphic and put it in my mm3 hack?

(this is not a screenshot directly from my version of the game)

or just leave my crystal background ...an old screenshot FROM my hack from like 4 months ago

or both? ..These 2 types take up ALOT of space ... about 3/5th's an entire tile table (around 80 of 128 tiles)

What? Where did you get that idea? Most people do Metal Man or Air Man first. In fact, until today, I have never heard of doing Bubble Man first.

...uh, I do Bubble Man first...

You know, as much as I hate to admit it, this proves MM2 was the best (MM3 is my favorite). There are more suggested orders for it than any other, proving that it was actually balanced.

Not JUST yet, but there shouldn't be any major differences. Once I do though, they're going here immediately, even if it's in a test level.

And here are some GIFs I made of the sprites. The small one's kinda buggy because Animation Shop is an asshole that refuses to realise I FIXED THE PROBLEM ARGH but they look okay.

MM2 is pretty good, but MM3 is better quality in my opinion.

Hmm, an obvious question, why weren't you working on Mega Man 3 instead?
I want to see a good MM3 hack, dammit

I was used to Visine.

DahrkDaiz' cancelled MM3 hack was the best MM hack I played, for what it was. Nice graphics, level design, and ASM hacks. We need more ASM hackers in the scene. That's why I'm glad kuja killer is doing what he is doing with MM3. That W tank idea is just awesome.

Anyway, since we're talking about Mega Man, who's up for hacking Wily Wars? I'd personally like to see a Sound Test hack. You see, Mega Man and Mega Man 3 are missing their respective "All Stage Clear" fanfares in the Sound Test, though you can still hear this upon beating Dr. Wily in MM3. I'd like to see that put back in the Sound Test, along with MM1's All Stage Clear theme (if Wily Wars has that theme, at least).

Just the title. I was really lazy, it's actually Rockman, I was just testing my graphics to make sure they looked right. My letters look odd, I didn't get the tilt right.

Well I'll defintely have more custom stuff done later on.
But at the momment I'm trying to concentrate on finishing one of my doc robot stages. ...and i've been on it for well over a month now. i'm not busy or anything ...just takes me a long time to do 1 stage at a time from scatch.

More importantly, someone should fix up poor midget Protoman. Every sprite was slightly resized for the ports, except Protoman who kept his original NES size.

The Joes are pretty bad, they're supposed to be the same size as Mega Man too. A lot of the stage enemies weren't resized but still look great.

I wanted to put this in the thread for my hack, but I was the last person to reply in it, so here's an updated shot of the Royal Chessboard for my CV hack:

MUCH better in my opinion. Before, the walls looked a bit strange, but they look fine now. And those Pawns <3 Not to mention the Knights <333

now the only thing left is the door

I have a dilemma now though, I don't know if I want to add a little color in it or not. Here's what it looks like if I add blue in with the "shine" on all the black parts compared to normal:

The blue doesn't seem to fit right next to all that white... perhaps if you added a light shade to those as well :?
