Intro part of my new SMW hack. No sprites or dialogue in yet, just the background stance. A video is available too. All I shall tell so far is... the plot is very loosely inspired on Project .hack (or what I know about it, as I have never watched or played anything from these series). |

Hello there, long time no see By the way you guys are doing amazing hacks, many of you have great design talent
Here is a silly screenshot of a Mario 64 hack I made. I call this one: "Too many Yoshies" The game slows down to a crawl when there are too many Yoshies! You can go talk to each one and they'll tell you the same story, then jump in the waterfall and disappear. Actually that's why I had to put the Yoshies on the roof, because they disappear when they are lower than a certain Y coordinate. (edited by VL-Tone on 12-08-05 05:05 AM) |

It will be possible to do better than this when I understand more of the "Geometry Layout" format. The other problem is still that the Yoshi MIO0 file is only loaded in the Castle Grounds level, so the game crashes when you enter the castle. Oh and I'm sorry, no IPS patch for now, it's a screenshot thread after all |

The Games called Super Mario Heros and Rivals Heres The world 1 map screen note that i cant get into level 1 without it screwing up when it starts to load the level it just stays black Anyway |

I was messing around a little bit with the original Mega Man and this is what I came up with for Gutsman's stage:
It might be a WIP, I don't know if I actually want to do anything with it or not. You might notice though that they are based off of the intro level from Mega Man X 3 |

I made, um....... this crap.
This is Homestar Runner singing, and being himself at startup... I went ahead and made almost every sprite gooey and.... ick. The coins just flash. They don't spin. The pipe isn't exit enabled yet. It might be removed. I didn't know very good ideas for a design of such a small room in that part, so I just added stuff. And, here he is on yoshi. NOTES: 1.) I have tried working on big Homestar, but it turned out ugly. He still has one frame of Ugly Big Homestar in the rom currently. 2.) Some message blocks say stuff, but it's mostly just about "msg" boxes and the scroll on level one. (Where the water is in screenie #4) C+C it, even though you might not like how I corkscrewed the surroundings.... =/ |
