It's back.

Here's something I know at least one person will be glad to see, if he even comes to the board anymore. Yes, you can resize the windows. No, I don't know why the text is a funny colour in the console, but that's just for debugging, not part of the final program.

I started thinking about the extra quests expansion that I'm going to make after I finish the main game for my FF hack, and well... lets say I don't think it's going to be as serious as the main game is. Here's two enemies that I made for it:

The Flying Spaghetti Monster and Trogdor the Burninator... yeah...

I'm been starting to hack Super Mario Kart since Saturday.

You guys remember Mirror Mode from Mario Kart: Double Dash, right? You know, the mode where the track is backwards? I'm bringing that mode to original Super Mario Kart and I have one track done.

Screenshots are too big so I'll link you to them.

There you go. I plan on working on 1 track per day at the max.

To me, the first shot's water is too bright, and the top doesn't look good.

Temporal Flux is making progress. You guys remember that app, right?

http://geigercount.net/crypt/TF-DNF.png

Not that I would care to comment on the direction of that progress. No, the file name of this shot is not an indicator. Not at all.

I would really like to have just two days without a serious error popping up.

Away! Away with all you damn bugs! Bleh.

Since there's no equivelant thread in the SMW forum...

I obviously haven't started any levels yet, just been doing the groundwork (art etc.). Shouldn't be too long before I get my level on though.

To The Kins: Holy shoot!! The text is some of the best video-game text, hacked or non-hacked, I have ever seen! Damn, that would also look good in SMB3. Keep it up, pal. (I've always been a fan of your hacks AND your don't-put-up-with-ignorance attitude, btw. )

Edit: I have some screens that'll please you ALL. Just give me a few days to get them ready.

Hey there, just thought I'd show a couple more new screenshots to show that I haven't been quitting on my megaman 3 remix hack of recreating the gameboy mm3 game.

I've been finding so much more data for the game, but haven't been doing many changes with what I've found yet because I really am focusing the most on my creating the stages most importantly. I spent the last month on the top man stage although I could of gotten it done within about 2 weeks. That's just because I've been spending time finding out more and more I can do on the game later.

I STILL need help with only a very very few things I've been unsuccessful at doing. I don't have any glitches or bugs..just need to know how in the heck to move the boss doors to "work" on different screens. I haven't found the data for it yet. (i don't mean TSA either)

Here's 2 screenshots of my top man stage just about 99% done. I know it has a skull man theme to it. .but that's what I'm doing. Also I have a special surprise about half way through I don't want to show you guys yet. ..that wasn't in the gb version ...

And for the 3rd time...!!..i redid some things with the sparkman stage ...I hand drew these new instant killing spikes myself ..but now i tried to make it more electrical-like.

Hope at least someone will still look forward to playing my hack when I have it finished sometime early next year

Nifty looking. Though I've played most MM games, I don't think I've ever played 3. And your hack definitely looks stylish Good work

Heres a few more screenies from my Yoshi's Island hack. I'm up to 2-8 now, so expect a demo release verrrrrry shortly. But for now, have a couple screenies of 2-7:

2-7: Mt. Stone

Comments would be appreciated

I'm not dead, but rather taking an extended break due to classes.

Super Mario Bros. 2 DX is still in the works. Mostly working on ASM hacks and finding data still. Most of these screenshots are kind of old, but then again, I haven't mentioned anything about this since the summer. The other stuff is happening with graphics and eventually levels.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Found the data to include the logs in World 4 (could make for some more diversity)

Yes, those bricks animate to shine.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
More changing of where data is read. Non-sprite Phantos are transformed into flames that animate.

I won't update again for a long time. More progress has been made, but it won't be seen until the release date.

The only other thing I can think to mention is, the life bar is horizonal, the shells bounce and the data sprites are read has been modified as well (red and pink shy guys have different graphics as well as colors).

Coding is being worked on to change the way levels will be completed.
