I've recently started working on Beta Mario World again and the status bar keeps annoying me. Please, help me out here. In the picture inside of the red box you see the coin status there. However, it does not record coins. It records the amount of bonus stars mario receives at the end of each level. I need some good asm hacker or a good hex programmer to fix this for me because, well, I suck at it. Please help me and thanks in advance.

7E0DB4 is Mario's coins 7E0DB5 is Luigi's coins 7E0F48 is Mario's Bonus Stars 7E0F49 is Luigi's Bonus Stars These RAM addresses can help someone if they want to find this before I do. Oh, and btw Yoshi Master, post in the Request Custom Hacks thread rather than making a new thread. |

Ugh. I really hate that small bonus star counter. 
If I get enough time when I get home after school, I can try to make it show the coins instead. |

| Thank you Smallhacker. I might be gone for a month or so. Would it be possible to send me a patch that will change those counters no matter how far I would be in my hack? If you ever get the time I would appreciate it. | |||

| Damn, I got the coins to work, but it only shows after you beat a level. And sometimes it resets itself, so I'm going to look at everything.
Oh, and YM, don't change all the Bonus Star data because you will get some weird coin things (like get coins when breaking the tape at the end of a level). |

| I couldn't make the patch I wanted. However, I managed to make something better.
Link This patch removes both bonus star counters. (Note that the small bonus stars will still show up in the status bar editor. Just ignore it.) |
