| howdy. Im just starting to learn about the world of game hacking and im having a great time. Im currently hacking mega man 5. I was using megaFLE .41 for a little bit when i notcied there was a .42 version out, however, i cant get it to work. When it asks for the file name, i put in "megaman5" and nothing happenes. When i did the same thing with .41, it worked. The game is in the same directory as .41 and .42. any suggestions? | |||

| MegaFLE 0.42 is a DOS program and will not always work so well if you're on Windows XP.
I'd just stick to the windows version (which I use all the time for working on my megaman 3 hack) Although .30 won't have quite as much support as the DOS one, but it just works better without problems. |

| The windows version only works with mm3 afaik, and I think the DOS version is more complete.
Fetts, try to input the file's extension along with the name, i.e. "megaman5.nes". If you already did that and it still doesn't work, then I can't help you more. |
