Looks good.

Although whoever wrote that article is an idiot. I don't think there have been many film projects delayed by DECADES.

Read the update after the article

I saw the site for that fan movie, but after a while the site disappeared and nothing really came of it.

I think a Zelda movie has potential to very good. That potential though is what would make it very disappointing if it came out bad.

Lets see, what game to movie conversions have actually WORKED? None come to mind that were any good, apperantly Hollywood is under the impression that fan turnout = good movie. Good god.

You ain't said poop there, my friend! It seems like the first thing everybody clamours about upon a movie's release is how good it did in it's first day at the box office. I guess this is to get people with the intelligence of Lemmings to go out and see it and pour more money into it before the people that actually saw it at it's grand opening can get to them first and tell them how much it sucked balls before they waste their money.

How well a movie does in it's first day is an indicator of nothing except the open-mindedness and curiousity of society as a whole. Get back to me in about six weeks with news that the movie is still grossing $130,000,000,000 a day...then I just might actually be convinced that it's a movie worth spending my hard-earned money on. Otherwise, I'll just wait until the DVD comes out, where I can watch it in my own home for nostalgia's or curiousity's sake and where no one else can catch me doing it and make fun of me.

He was saying the exact opposite of what you think he said there.

Here's what some of you need to look at: Don't freak out about them making yet another Game-to-Big Screen movie, sure Doom Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter were lame, but look at it like this: Nintendo based movies would be cooler than capcom based or acclaim based, Nintendo has better games than all the other companies, look at the Legend of Zelda series, most of thos games are awesome, and turning it into a movie would be sweet, not lame. You've got the effect of several of the past medieval type flicks that could inspire it to be good.

No. No, it isn't. It's about a possible Zelda movie.

Let us hope its better than this one.

Looks great for a school project, but nothing more.

I love it when he screams and punches the ground.

Whoops

Everyone started talking about Street FIghter and Mario brothers and stuff and I thought it was about videogames in general going to movies. Sorry about that.

I've got to say, that fan trailer is really nice. Obviously not the greatest production value, but for what it is, it's great.

Why are we even discussing this? Wasn't it stated that this was a hoax?

Well, not this most recent trailer. It's pretty obvious that it's not a trailer for a real big-budget movie to anyone who has eyes. The topic of conversation has now shifted from the hoax movie to the fan trailer. That's why we're discussing it.

This whole Zelda movie thing may be just a rumor like the Dragonball Z movie that was rumored, but who knows?

Well, as was already stated, it's not really happening, and the trailer is probably about as far as the fan movie will go, unfortunately. I wouldn't mind seeing a full movie made by those people, actually.

It looked like it was full of pretty terrible acting. You'd get a better set of performances at a school play

Yes, the acting would most likely be pretty terrible. But at the same time, I think there's a certain charm so long as you're not expecting anything really cheesy.

And certainly better than the Mega Man Live Action Movie for which there's a similar trailer.

IT'S MISTAH GUTSMAN!

That was brilliant. I'd watch the crappy Mega Man movie over the crappy Zelda movie any day.
