Mario and Yoshi, but only when they're together. Toad gets the best single character award, though. Shame he only goes on an adventure in SMB2. He was the king of speed in that game and had incredible strength.

The green ones, Yoshi and Luigi. There's not much in the way of character development in any of the games, so I gotta go with other things - in this case, green's my second favorite color (blue's favorite, the only blue things are some Koopa Troopas and a Yoshi =/), so Luigi and Yoshi win.

Toad. He only does anything in the spin-off games and SMB2, but he's a badass in said games. Makes me wonder why he never goes on any [real] adventures.

I voted for Yoshi, Luigi and Wario.

Yoshi because of that cuteness he has sometimes and his noises in SSBM. Luigi because he´s more of a PIMP than Mario and Wario because of that style he has. And his greediness.

Toadette was probably included for feminist reasons, or something like that. Probably just general incompetence though. I don't understand why Birdo is in the poll, either. Donkey Kong, although originally from Mario, is more of his own character than a Mario one in this modern age, except in Mario Kart.
