You forgot that single line:

The answer is pretty simple. Keiji Inafune and Irregular Hunter X.

Um... It sounds like there were things about this that stem from outside Maverick Hunter X, honestly. You're just whining here, and the blatant PSP trolling is not acceptable.

Dude.

You're being irrational. First off, there's nothing wrong with the PSP. In fact, I've heard more reports about the DS being defective (dead pixels, mainly) than the PSP being defective. It sounds more like you're getting all whiny and attacking the PSP because you feel left out in the rain. Second, why are you getting so uptight about these changes? They're nothing major that will effect gameplay.

...It's not like he totally butchered the X Collection games just for that purpose. A few minor changes that really don't affect gameplay, so... can't really see what there is to get so pissed off about.

That's possible. :\

Then again, I *do* like the new Mega Man remake coming out for the PSP in March with the Edit Mode and everything. If I ever got a PSP for some strange reason, I'd pick the game up. There's always games you'd like to play on platforms you're not particularly fond of.

that line doesn't imply the PSP...and how do I know that it was for the PSP? None of the other links on the editoral page talked about Irregular Hunter, I only saw Maverick Hunter...how am I supposed to know those two were the same?...

Anyways... I wonder how many people really care in the end that these features aren't there... most of them are going to get the PSP games anyways...

Actually, Maverick Hunter X (to use the proper American name) is coming out for the PSP and is a remake of Mega Man X.

Because they're trying to milk a dead franchise EVEN MORE with remakes...

Yet if the remakes are handled with care and are fun to play, then I'd hardly call it "milking" the franchise. If the remakes turn out to be average games, then you'd have a point.

You know, regardless of what Pikawil says, he's already lost credibility for being a fanboi against PSP via the Ninja Shuriken launcher case.

either that OR...introducing Mega Man to a new generation... Mega Man still has a huge following. As long as there are people buying MM branded stuff, Capcom will continue to take advantage of this (they would be stupid not to).

The only problem here is that the psp is not terribly popular and it might be wiser to go with another system, but wtf at yelling just because it's on the psp

It's a popular system. It's #2 to the DS at the moment but it's not like the DS has 90% of the market share or anything.

2006 is very important for Sony though, because if the PSP can't get anything going then they're likely going to be declared the losers of the war.
