I don't know why this hapenig, but some sprites are messed up! some screen shots:



screen shots is from my frist smw hack: cool super mario world or super mario: mystery in purple coin's! of super mario: 7 mission's

please help fast!

You HAVE to leave the first two sprite GFX slots (SP1 and SP2) as GFX00 and GFX01, because those sprites are used commonly throughout the game. If you change them, several important sprite GFX will become corrupted.

it looks like you doesn't save your gfx in SNES 4bpp format

I only edit gfx in lunar magic, not in yy-chr!

Is it my computer or did you not load any graphics for that slot? Anyway my theory is you accidently loaded exgraphics in the sprite slot, and do the sprites appear that way in Lunar magic?

Sumo Bros, Rex and Chargin Chuck are okay for some reason. Are you sure you're not lying or something? If you are not, it would help immensely if you could give us a patch showing the glitch off.

I still think it's because he changed SP1 and SP2. The sprites that are ok don't use SP1 and SP2 and ones that do aren't ok.

That still doesn't explain why the tiles show up as garbage, unless he used one of those files you're not supposed to use in those slots.

Hmm... this will happen from time to time, I don't know what causes the glitch, but I recommend you show us a picture of the Super gfx bypass screen, and that you extract the graphics from a working ROM, and insert them to your messed-up ROM, that should fix the problem, if it doesn't work, post a patch.

There's your problem. Just like the program said, you edited sprite file 02 (Either GFX01.bin or GFX02.bin), and the file is now too big. Take all the GFX from a normal SMW ROM (allGFX.bin), insert it into your hack (put it into the graphics folder and use joined GFX), and hopefully, it'll fix itself. Tell us how that works out.
