| I've criticised your screenshots.
1: What happened to the title screen? 2, 3: Looks like you're making it too hard. Bullet Bills, Firebars, Hammer Bros? In the first level? You first see Firebars in 1-4, Bullet Bills in 5-1 and Hammer Bros in 3-1 in the original game. Keep with the way the original game gets progressively harder. Not everyone here is great at playing SMB, I know I'm not. 4: More hammer bros? Bowser's fire? 5: I see a difficult jump. What you later posted... 1: Looks pretty weird to me too. And why is there an exclamation block? 2: Looks stupid. A Podoboo jumping through brick? Or as you say, a Pooldado? 3: More Bowser's fire? 4: A covered lava? What a boring passageway. 5: You've dared to stick a firebar on a question block? Looks stupid. Now, I'll find all the aspects of unoriginality and tell you where they're from: 1: -- 2: This is from the start of 1-1. Those fireballs are ugly. 3: This is just after the pipe you can go into. 4: This is actually original at least... 5: That place with the high platform where you get 4 coins and a mushroom/fire flower below. in 1-3 1: Start of 1-2. 2: The place where you have to slide under the bricks if you're Big mario and avoid the koopa troopa and 2 goombas in 1-2. 3: The 3 piranha pipes. lol 4: The beginning. 5: Area just after the beginning. All you've done is move the firebar! |

| I think it's highly debatable who's the best hacker here. Insectduel, calling yourself the best could possibly make you get replaced even faster.
...You don't make money off of hacking, do you? Isn't that the definition of "Professional"? As far as UZI's hacks go, I think that they require much more committment and perhaps less bragging. | What's your problem, UZI? I think you're the only one that's not taking any of this seriously. You want to make hacks that people enjoy and want to play until the very end, right? Then please try not to act silly.
...I wouldn't mind playing your hack if you put more time and skill into it. I myself am not a "good" rom hacker, but I don't think it's nice to brag continuously about your hack. It's gonna take a major 180 degree turn for you to earn respect around here, UZI. Take some quality time creating your hack and don't brag about it, even if it is a fun ROM hack. |
