well it doesnt seem like 16 dollars a month is that much. and does anyone know why on the manual it tells you about the latency of the game and how the lowest latency is green and the highest is red. well why is it that my friends older brother has a super fast connection that doesnt lag at all but his latency is allways green that just doesnt make sense to me. does anyone else have this problem? |

Yea it would help if you like, told us what game you were talking about 
I can only guess it is World of Warcraft. Anyways, latency is handled as, the lower the latency, the better! So if it is green, it means that you are connecting quicker and that means you have better connection! If it is Yellow or Red, then you are taking longer to connect, and you will get lag and other problems. So it is obviously a missunderstanding of how you interpret Latency. *God you dont know how hard it was to not yell out NEWBIE YOUR STUPID in the middle of that post.* |

| My mistake of not putting the game that I was talking about. And yes I was talking about WoW. And why exactly did you want to yell out "NEWBIE YOUR STUPID" and I got the whole green latency is the lowest is because thats what I was told. | |||

There's server-side lag (which explains how you can have a latency of under a 100 / green and STILL have terrible lag in capital cities), there's memory leak lag spikes (whenever you run certain UI / modifications for a while, the memory leaks and can run your game horribly), and then there's the computer being a piece of crap and nothing ever working right lag. Either way, super fast connection + green latency = good. Red latency / higher numbers = bad. Please learn to be reading the manuals correctly. :/ |

| Sorry for replying late, but I just wanted to tell you the definition of latency. In my own words, latency is the time it takes for a packet to reach its destination. Naturally, less latency is preferred. |
