You can't edit graphics in normal graphics editors. (Well... You can, but it's messier.) You need a tile editor. I recommend YY-Chr.

You have to set it to "SNES 4bpp". Also, the colors of the graphics won't be right. This doesn't mean that there's something wrong with the tile editor.

You did open the BIN files, right? Opening the ROM won't work.

Now i open the bin Files wich i extract from the SuperMarioWorld.smc

OK now i see some graphics but not right colored! These not the right colors like in the game! Can i extraxt the BMP to a graphicprogramm and edit it and then import it? I think the game "Super Mario Demo World" is edit with a graphic program not with yy chr! This will be to strange!

It's because the tile editor doesn't know where in the ROM the colors are. You'll (hopefully) get used to it anyway.

Well... It's possible, but I suggest not to.

Actually, it was made in a tile editor (except for the M16-7k backgrounds)

PhotoShop is not a tile editor, although it can be useful in creating the graphics so you can insert them. I reccomend using YY-CHR or Tile Molester for the actual inserting of graphics.

In YY-CHR i see the Sets but so:

http://www.r-pgquartier.de/yychr.jpg

This are the 8x8 Tilesets of LM like this in LM:

http://www.r-pgquartier.de/yychr_lm.jpg

Nut i need this Set:

http://www.r-pgquartier.de/yychr_lm2.jpg

There are no Export Function in YY-CHR. So i didn't know the size, color and format of the Image! Anybody have the steps to open the 16x16 Set Export them edit them and then import them and use them! If i great new Sets i will import them into SMW!

You have to serch for those graphics in your tile editor. Click the arrow keys in the tile editor and keep looking for them untill they should show up, but you have to look for them.

For colors, load up SMW in your ZSNES and save a state anywhere in the level. Then open up your tile editor (YY-chr) and go to "Load emulators state". Load up your state you just made and the colors should be there. Click the arrows near the bottom to find the right color for what you're editing.

It would be easier if you use control panel to change the .bin files as a YY-CHR format.

O now understand how the *.bin File workes! Nut there are now way to show the 8x8 or the 16x16 File in the Right Color like the Game? I open the Bin Files with some programs and ever the false palette. With this palete i can'T draw a image! Not the right RGB Colors to draw an new Tileset.

PLS it doesn't work!

Then

1. Open YY-CHR
2. Open the .Bin File
3. Go to zSNES
4. Open the Rom
5. When the Title Screen comes save a Save State
6. Then go back to YY-CHR and click the "Load emulator's state"
7. Go to where your Save State has been saved and double click it
8. Here you go, perfect Pallete and you can start Edit Graphics
