| That's right. Any thread in which he's posted, it goes down to his post, shows it as totally blank, and continually does the "Loading" thing, never actually finishing. It's pretty major, as it basically prevents me from navigating through any place he's posted and ties up my browser.
Nasty, eh? I'm using lololol 1.0.7 on Ubuntu 5.10 using GNOME with 512 MB memory, adblock, a thing which checks for correct HTML (but is disabled), with VGmix open in another tab, X-chat open, mIRC emulated in WINE open, and Winamp playing an mp3 named El Coatl - Distress call. Just in case any of that could be the problem instead of, say, the formatting of his post ;p Yes, it is 1:50 AM. |

His CSS wasn't the @import version and he didn't have his DIVs closed...though it's his server regardless. Shouldn't use outside CSS on crappy servs...shouldn't really use it at all. |

| Firemaker is currently working on his layout (there is a thread in Modern Art) so hopefully this is merely the result of some kind of bug at the moment and it will resolve itself.
He really should close his div tags though.  |

Well it's an HTML tag, so you could do <link rel="blah"> or <link rel='blah'> or <link rel=blah> or <link something="this" rel="blah" somethingelse=that>. But if onxxx= attributes can be filtered, it shouldn't be difficult to grab the rel= attribute.  |

"/<link [^>]*href=['\"]?([^ >'\"]*)[^>]*>/i"
that should be your search string, and then \1 should be used for the url in the replace string it may need some tweaking, I can't test it right now of course, this will grab the href from any type of link tag and turn it into an import thing... but what else would someone use a link tag for in a layout/post? unrelated: if you have the board replace & with & every time it puts text in a text field such as you might type a post into, they won't be unescaped every time you preview or edit a post (edited by Zem on 01-10-06 05:43 PM) (edited by Zem on 01-10-06 05:44 PM) |
