| Seriously, Luigi rocks in his own way. Sure he has no courage whatsoever, but he has defeaten King Boo and deafeated an army of ghosts to find his bro.
In MLSS he saved his brother from near death. He had the emotions brothers should feel between each other. Luigi plays a big role in Mario's fate. |

| Luigi just fails at being cool /useful period. Look at SSBM for example. There are 2 Mario's and only one Luigi. And take a look at Luigi's special moves. They flat out suck, especially the random rocket thing. | |||

| Mario and Luigi are both good characters in their own ways. Mario is very well-balanced, and has pummeled several villains countless times, let alone saved the Mushroom Kingdom. Luigi may be cowardly, but whenever his brother was faced with fatal misfortune, Luigi was always there to rescue him.
But let's not forget Yoshi, either. Without him in the SMW2 timeline, Mario probably wouldn't have lived to this day. My point is, even though Mario is my favorite out of the two brothers, he can't always do it without his brother. |

Mario kind of seems like a dick if you ask me. Like.. I can see him in a bar flexing his muscles next to some bimbo like.. "Yeah, I saved the Princess all by myself from the clutches of a firebreathing dragon. It just.. makes me happy to see the looks on the childrens faces.. when she's returned to her kingdom.. so much hope" [insert tear]. I elaborate way too much. But yeah, that's basically how I see the two characters. |

| I always liked Luigi better. Mario is only liked more because he came out in an earlier game.. >.<

| Mario. Luigi is slower than Mario if the SMB2J clause (Luigi jumps higher, but can't stop as quickly) is in place. Also, Mario is player 1. No need to mess around with 2-Player and the Game Over screen. Mario is Missing and Luigi's Mansion aren't what I'd call the best Mario/Luigi games, either. |
