| Perhaps it's just the color scheme I use when I browse here, but I definitely imagine it having dark walls. Either dark blue or dark maroon; (yes, I have the Daily Cycle scheme)
And that's about it as far as anything definite that pops to mind. I'd personally hope that it has a bar; and I'd assume that if it does, Anya, Ziff and NSNick and I will be attached to it  (edited by Tarale on 01-06-06 09:20 PM) |

| I think the wallpaper would probably be the default scheme (Daily Cycle). I picture the ROM Hacking Community to have their own little room to discuss hacking because a decent amount of people (not all) usually don't roam around the other forums other than the ROM Hacking forums. I can also imagine the Craziness Domain room to be a padded cell room.
Meh, that's all that I can think of right now. |

| Hardware / Software... well, this picture comes to my head of my old tech room at my old office.
Imagine this.... around three of the four walls there are workbenches with black rubber matting on them and power points all around. Down the middle of the room there is shelving, and on the fourth wall there is more shelving. And there isn't a single surface (including most of the floor) that doesn't have a piece of computer hardware on it somewhere. And a screwdriver. |

| ROM Hacking, SMW Hacking, and Pokemon Hacking would be a massive library with tons of copies of about 5 or so books. There would be displays of the glory days of hacking on the wall and statues to the legends. There would be a reference desk where the mods would sit and lines of people waiting to get help.
I wonder what the bathrooms would look like  |

Kinda like Smallhacker drew it. Except it'd have a sign like stores do with the board logo on it on the outside. And a lot of little knuck clones running around going 'durrr', with people wondering whether they're really saying that or Xk just hacked it to make them say it.

| I guess I imagine it as everyone here just standing around chit-chatting. Of course I don't know what everyone looks like so I just image them looking like whatever pictures appear on their avatars or in their layouts. So in other words there's a bunch of anime and random movie characters talking and showing off there art and whatever else. Of course this all comes to an abrupt and gory end when a giant enraged strawberry comes in and eats everybody. | |||

| So like, theres this big central hub, you know. Its big and circular. And then, when you enter a room, there's a bookshelf on the wall with empty books, which act as threads. Then theres this conveyor belt that goes along the floor in a room, with pedistals lined up against the wall. You put the book down and start writing. Then the book magically attaches itself to a pedestal. As people start writing in the books, the pedestal moves behind the wall, and slingshots itself to the front of the room, book and all, moving everything down. Sticky topics get their own, important wall.
Then theres this magic pen that all mods get. Local mods have a special pen that writes in a certain color only in certain rooms. Full mods get that special color everywhere. And Admins get a special pen that can write on actual people. They also get a bucket of paint. For no reason, you start with a little floating robot over your head, displaying your username, title, avatar, and stats. As you get more stuff written in the books, you can upgrade your robot to have a custom title as well. Mods get better robots by default, and the Admin robots have the power of "ban"
If you go into the third bathroom down a random hall that opens every second thursday of a leap year, you can get to the magic door that leads to the Lost Threads. Only special goggles given to mods allow you to even see in that room. Yeah... random thoughts  |

| A gigantic building, each floor being a forum, and each room on that floor being a thread where people join in and talk. The 1st basement is the trash, the second is the Admin Forum, and the third is the Lost Threads. Like Smallhacker's Acmlm comics, more or less. | |||

There'd be security cameras, but most would be either non-working or in the process of being installed. The FAQ would be written on a giant slab of stone which would swing down and hit each newbie, except for the ones smart enough to see it coming. I'd say more, but the other ideas go into specifics about people. And shouldn't this be in Craziness instead? |

| It probably should.
For some reason I picture like a basement with a bar... and the carpet is black with dark walls. There has to be vending machines though, that's vital. And the threads are represented by circular tables where people sit and discuss different topics. Kind of like an amazing cafeteria, with a bar. The mods are like the janitors and if someone gets out of hand, they mop them up. Or they'll clean the tables that get too dirty. The admins are like the owners of the bar, which overlooks all the tables. Word. And the vending machines, I don't know. I always think of vending machines when I come here. Weird.. kinda.
