Okay, so during the course of the past five days I've fainted twice, and have felt dizzy every single day. It's seriously impacting my performance at school, and uh.. everything.

I went to the doctors and they said I had low blood pressure, but there's a question mark as to what's causing it. I had an EKG, like five blood tests, a urine test... and they all came out normal.

I'm a vegetarian, yes.. but I make sure I get enough protein from non-meats (tofu, kidney beans, cheeses), and I take a multi-vitamin to supplement other nutrients I may not be getting.

Are there any other alternative answers to this that maybe I haven't examined?
I'm really puzzled, and I'm sick of feeling like this.

Get a doctor's note. First. That will slow the damage at school.

Next up, there are potentially puberty related issues that could arise. That should be discussed with your doctor, or a public health worker (preferably).

I know how that feels, I never feel too great. On monday I fainted, and today I felt dizzy for most of the day. Yesterday, I went to school late, stayed there for 10 minutes, then just went home because i felt fucking awful.

Apparently I may have DVT. Which is worrying, seeing as my dad has it.

My only guess would be either a problem from not drinking enough fluids or having somekind of iron deficiency. But then all the tests you've had would have shown them up and I'm no Doctor so I'm sure the people you've seen would have considered things like this immediately.

Heeeyyy, this sounds like me about a year ago.
I had all those tests done as well, and everything came back normal. None of my doctors knew why I fainted the first time.. until it happened again. They asked me if there was something happening in the situations it happened, if I was under excessive stress, worrying, scared, nervous, anything. And I connected the dots that all the times I fainted at that time, it was because I was feeling an intense emotion that pretty much... got to me so much it made my blood pressure plummet. This may not be the case for you.. but you should think about it. It solved my big mystery, and now I'm slowly but surely working on controlling it.

Yup, your body moves but your blood can't keep up and thus for one moment, your brain has no oxygen...

Anyways, earlier today I got my wisdom teeth extracted...fun stuff trying to walk after getting put to sleep from surgery

Hmm... it's already been mentioned, but Iron comes to mind as something; particularly as you're a girl and I know I feel like crap when I'm not getting enough iron too.

I'm not a vegetarian though; so I solve that problem differently to how you would. Red Meat is a great source of iron... but I think so are green vegetables like brocolli, brussels sprouts and uh... something else green... spinach? I'm not sure, but Mushrooms ring a bell too. Mmm... mushrooms...

Another thing is to make sure you're drinking plenty of water.

Course, it may be none of this; but it's worth trying to rule it out as a possibility too

Last I heard mushrooms have no nutrition value at all. Could be wrong though.

Taking any new medications lately? That's all I can really think of, but then again, if your doctor can't figure it out, I don't stand much of a chance. Some people are just naturally proned to low blood pressure, though.

Sounds like a ess serious form of something I used to have. Are the faints ever accompanied by a seizure? If they are, it may be a sign of Vaso-Vagil Synchope...

Nope.. no seizures.

And I'm like the least stressed out person that I know, honestly.

Maybe I'm just prone to having low blood pressure for some unexplainable reason? It's just bothering me that I can't seem to get un-dizzy the past few days. Alls I've been doing is drinking water, sprite and eating alot.

It's really getting old. And my teachers don't believe me.

Actually I just got off medication, I took accutane to clear up my skin. Now my skin's perfect.. but uh.. uh oh..

Yeah but one of the times it literally happened sitting in my spanish class cutting out pictures in a magazine. The other time I was in the shower.

There were really no intense emotions. There's really like.. nothing going on right now.

Or maybe I'm subconciously anxious?

How long were you taking it? According to Wikipedia, Accutane causes tachycardia, which apparently causes low blood pressure. It also list dizziness as another side effect. If you weren't taking it very long, its possible that the side effects are just kicking in as you're coming off. If that's the case, it should go away soon since you've stopped taking it.

to tell u the truth i real have never frainted before. but i do know somebody who has fainted and they told me that the doctors do exactyly what they have allready done to you. i would suggest you have them test you on other stuff besides just the effects of low blood presure. cause sometimes the doctors will test you on one thing but never test you on other possibilities so just ask them to check that out for you. and did they ever give you sme medication for this problem?

Just don't go crazy on the mushrooms as they tend to take up certain bad metals I forgot the name of. Nothing wrong eating them now and then, but having them as a everyday diet might be a bad idea.

now what kind of mushrooms are we talking about here. i have only heard of one kind of mushroom that can suposadly "cure" the sick. and that is some african mushroom that the natives used. the ones that we eat well i have never heard of them being able to cure any sicknesses.

There are lots of different species of mushrooms used in herbal medications. But that's not what I was referring to here. I am aware that mushrooms are quite good for you as far as certain vitamins and minerals go, and that's what I was trying to bring to your attention.

As for heavy metals; meh... I haven't heard anything about that.
