I haven't seen an update for a while.. And anyway are there going to be oppertunities to make it to run on other OSes? I can imagine Lunar MACic...Heh.

And Super Mario Advance 2 Support..? Is it going to be ever featured, or is it going to be FuSoYa's private thing..?

According to FuSoYa, he won't do anything with LM anymore except it is about fixing major bugs only. But well, he said that before 1.62 too... so I guess waiting is the best solution here.
SMA2 support - I checked with massive reverse engineering - is not really present in the current LM version, but there are stubs suggesting it has been #define-d out before compilation. Fu himself says he has no plans on releasing it though and did it solely out of academical purposes. (Why would one want it, anyway? It's the same game with more limitations and lower resolution.)

What if he finds something really useful for SMW? (i.e. Save overworld palette to file, or overworld to file. I know you guys are tired of "OMG! This Should Be In Lunar Magic!!1" requests, but I always have to restart my overworld when I screw up my rom past repair)

you can transfer the overworld, just open rom 1, open the overworld editor, then open rom 2, don't close the overworld editor, and then save the overworld, for the pallete, the overworld pallete saved in shared pallete, just export them and re-import them in the other rom

For LM, freeDOS working on a LM-like editor, detail here

How can he transfer his OW from ROM A to ROM B when the whole reason he's transferring is that he's lost ROM A in the frst place?

I suppose if someone wanted to make collecting the dragon coins a quest of sorts with a reward in the end...but that still would be easy enough (although more cumbersome) in the SNES version.

What's stopping someone from making a separate tool that can do this?

I don't see why LM has to do EVERYTHING under the sun...

No, but it has to do everything under the moon. That's why it's called Lunar Magic.

Is that a music editor for just Super Mario World, or does it have other features?

Why not look through the archive for information on it instead of making pointless posts?

How about just saying "check the archives" rather than giving me a hard time?

This is just me, but maybe you shouldnt talk back to staff and take what they seriously instead of a personal insult.

Pointing out your errors is not an insult, it's criticism. If you know your faults, you can improve upon them.

Is this argument really necessary? On one hand, yes, Solar Soundtrack's purpose ain't exactly a new development. On the other, you can't really expect someone to browse the entire archive in the hope they'll find information that may or may not even be there.

Don't have to browse through it all; I'd just make a quick check on google.

Here, I'll even do it for him:

Then just follow the links and add /archive in the appropriate place to get to it. There weren't that many relevant results; it wouldn't take long.

You could do that, yeah... but how well known is it that the Googlebots have the pretty much the entire board archived? I stand by the other hand, you should have no reasonable expectation that someone will search the archive for old posts.
