Yes, I bite my nails.  I know it's a dirty habit but I can't help myself.
Actually, I've definitely cut down on nail biting. In grade school it was so bad that my parents bought a special polish to put on the nails, making them taste hideous.  As in "you need a big gulp of water afterwards" hideous.
Gotta love oral fixations.  |

| I used to bite my toenails! But that was when I was younger and shorter.
I'm still very flexible, but I can't quite get my foot to my mouth if I even wanted to do that. And even if I did, it would feel very uncomfortable. |

Sometimes I do, but now that I think about it, my fingers touch and are in some rather disturbing places throughout the day, and I should probably not be putting them into my mouth...

I can still get my feet to my head. Yes, I´m very flexible. But a friend I know can get both his feet BEHIND his head and make them stay there. |

| My fingernails are too hard for me to bite through - I can't even bite off hangnails. I need nail clippers, and they need to be strong ones... I've used fingernail clippers before where I could squeeze the levers hard enough to make them touch, and the nail still didn't clip, so I usually use those big toenail clippers. | |||

I have been a nail biter all my life, and this habit will most likely follow me to my grave . Now matter how many times I've told myself to stop, I just can't stop it...so I gave up trying to give up  . On the bright side, at least I don't have to cut them, I just bite the fuckers off  . |

And yeah.. when I was like.. really really little I used to bite my toenails. When I think about it.. I actually want to puke. Maybe it's some sort of strange grooming instinct we have? |
