That reminds me of when I was pumping gas the other day and this guy asked me for 50 cents, then asked my name, and if we could go out. Oh yeah, and then he said "No, I'm not homeless." But he must be broke for asking me for 50 cents. Now that was funny.

I'm down too because of a girl.

She's 25, I'm 22. She have a baby.

The way I see it, she wants a guy who is working full time, who is not going to school anymore. I'm not going to quit school because of a girl.

Hard to live with for a few days, but after you accept the truth, everything is fine.

I don't plan on feeling depressed all the time. I'm just going to be friend with her. I'll have another GF, it's not the end of the world.

3 majors things to do in those cases:

- Sleep Well
- Eat Well
- Accept the truth

Fuck it, I'm not going to lay down on my bed crying all night. Fuck that shit. I hate drama queens. Stop wondering what if she's... what if... Live in the fucking present.

That was... my piece of advice.

Bella... I think the whole 50 cents thing was his reason to go up to you and not look too creepy. Either way, it sucked. But it could have been worse, he could have used some cheesy pick up line like "do you have a bandaid?...."

Met a girl fitting all three of these criteria about a week ago. She ended up semi-raping my friend.

Not fat now, but give her about 5 years.

He did look slightly tore up though. But asking for money? Come on now

The first thing I ever said to the guy I have a crush on now was about money but still, it was at work and not at a gas station.

I give money to "bums" all the time.

Also, I give up on girls until college. Most girls here are "meh" and I won't have to fuck with parents approval crap then.

What an appropriate choice of words, heh heh. The only girls that I KNOW stare at me like that (they don't say anything though) are typically unattractive ones.

Meh.
I met a girl who doesn't take a moment NOT to annoy me.
I try to ignore her but it started when my friends asked her out for me as a joke.

I met this girl once, the only love I ever had with any girlfriend. Or at least the others didn't hurt for half a year to know that I walked away from something like that.

I broke up with her because I felt that her being with me wasn't a very good thing for her. Firstly, she cheated on me, and it was my intention to help her forget about that (I didn't care after a while, because I forgave her).

But the main reason was that my life was going nowhere. I had no job, no ambition to get a job, and just did nothing with my life but go to school. And I didn't even have the ambition to go anywhere with that either. I knew that relationship would just keep going and going, and eventually we would probably have gotten married (I was ready to propose on her birthday in December, but we split in September).

So I cut it off. Not so bad at first, because I told her we should go on a break for a while, just to see what single life was like again, or go after anyone we had been secretly been keeping an eye on for a bit. I knew she was lookin at someone else besides the one she cheated on me with, so that helped with my decision.

But then things started to get out of hand. She rarely called me, she ignored me alot, and she even had the nerve to call me controlling. That to me is an insult, because I'm probably the least controlling person in the world, and you think she would have figured that out after I forgave her for cheating. I kept fairly out of contact after that, but eventually she came around to me and asked me to be her friend again.

And then I made a mistake: I ran away from her. I remember the last thing I said was "I'm not waiting around for you any longer...But I want you to know I thought what we had was special beyond words or description..."

Then I cut off contact completely. Looking back, I think I've ruined my chances with that again, but it doesn't matter anyway. I've decided not to get too close to anyone ever again, and is the main reason I might be moving out of the province, over to BC.

None of you know me, but if you did you would know that the only ones who I hold dear are the only ones who make me angry and lash out. When they piss me off, I go fucking ballistic, and they are the reason for most of my rants (Excluding this one). The end goal is to separate myself from them however possible so I don't end up hurting them, because it's gotten to the point where if I wasn't a pacifist, I would have punched out my own grandfather, even my grandmother for godsakes...It gets that bad.

Anyways, back on topic. If you love someone, cherish it. There are some of us rootin for ya who don't want to anymore...

Somewhat of a Success Story

I sure hope at least some of you remember me from the previous "Club for the Lonley-Hearted" thread, when I had quite a sticky situation on my hands.

Turns out, all of my hard efforts paid off.
Jayde and I have been together for over 8 months now, and we love each other dearly!
We've gone through an eight hour drive to go on holidays together (well, she drove, 'cause I can't drive), and we've been through alot!

We hear next to nothing about her ex anymore, and I hope we never have to deal with that again.

Seems I can't link you to the old CftLH thread 'cause it's not in the archives, but meh..

We're planning on spending the rest of our lives together (which I think every "normal" person wants (IMO), so we're happy.

So just keep at it, and eventually, you'll find the one right for you.

KEEP AT IT!!1

Hello all, not sure how new or old this thred is but i though i would reply as well. I felt the same as much as the magority of you did about 17 months ago. I had had no propa GF and was deeply unhappey with my life and situation> i had mates and a good job but wasnt quight complete, then i found a woman in the leese likely place. At that point i relised i had some feelings for my best mates GF i kept well away though as he was a mate, and mates dont do that. Later on that month she finished with him and expresed feelings for me. Eventualy after going out on the beer. She plyed me so drunk that she finaly got me to admit i felt the same. We saw each other for a wile and then after some famly issues she had to come and live with me and my pairents. This was realy a bad situation. I was very happey because my perants were willing to do that for me but it put a lot of strain on the relationship. After about 7 months we finaly found a flat we could both afford to run and we have been there ever since. I couldnt be happyer. with her support i have managed to find a job in IT managment and have finaly been able to afford a nice car and nice things. there isnt a real morle here apart from...It will find you, you will never find it. Beying shy and quight doesnt make any differnce if its going to happen it will. If it doesnt there is no point forcing the issue or changing you are who you are. Ps sorry about spelling no time to run though spell checker

I used to feel the same about love. Like it wasn't for me. Then I got hit by car and perhaps my noggin was dented just right. For I realized the solution to high school relationships...

DON'T BOTHER WITH HIGHSCHOOL RELATIONSHIPS

I didn't bother hitting on women seriously until I was a senior. And trust me, it's easy once you get the formula down. What most 14 year pre-puberty males lack is patience.

Think of a relationship as water in the kettle. It takes time to bring it to a full boil. And like what some have said don't ever make it a drama. No offence to Head Hunter but your story sounds like something off the Halmark Channel.

Just play it cool...

If he finds the right girl and he feels ready, he can have a fantastic relationship in high school.

I hate when people say that high school love isn't possible. Turning 18 doesn't give you a certificate saying you can now officially love.

You think that is bad? I'm almost 22 and still nothing

Yesterday, I think I told someone indirectly that I liked them (I didn't utter the words but I told her I worried for her) and she told me not to worry for her

I guess I belong here. I have NO self-confidence with affairs like love (and almost none in the way of friends) Basicly, as I am constantly reminded, no one at my schools like me. People always try to beat the shit outta me. I remmber one time some freaking bastards ruined my favorite shirt (as we have no real gym uniform) by pourning toilet water (after someone took a piss and shit in it to boot) in my locker. Luckily it didn't get on me...my gym coach noticed the stench and opened it to investigate. I do feel something for someone. I just can't get the courage to tell her.

Meh, it's been quite a while since I posted in a topic like this one.

Some of you guys may remember the engaged girl I once had feelings for, well, as of last October, I stopped having feelings for her, permanently.

Now, I've recently met (on MySpace that is), a really nice blonde girl who at first had a boyfriend. This girl surprised me in quite a few ways, for one, it turned out that she's in her second year of a program I'm going into my first year in at a college (we're both in the same college, so we're going to meet for the first time in September. Concealing my excitement about meeting her for the first time is tough though, as she is quite a cute girl), and it also turned out, that after I saw her last name there, I was curious to know if she was related to a few people I went to school with, who had the same last name. Well, as it turned out, she's actually related to them all, they are cousins of hers.

However, in the days that this girl and I have been keeping in touch, I eventually learned that she no longer had a boyfriend, and now, she would prefer to be alone in life, without getting another boyfriend for a while. Is there no doubt to my thought that she is heartbroken?

If so, how long on average does it take for someone to heal from a heartbreak?

I just wish I could help her someday, because after all, I was heartbroken as well at one time (but right now, I've pretty much gotten over it).

Edit: Just a typo...
