Okay I am new here but I really only want to know one thing.

When I downloaded YY-CHR and when I try to open it up my Antivirus (AVG Free Edition) says that it is a trojan.

I have searched this forum and found a thread saying that someone else had the same problem. It turns out that some people have been using it for ages and they didn't have any problems with it at all so they are saying that the antivirus is wrong.

So I have checked it out with other antiviruses and half say it's a virus and the other half don't.

So I thought it would be okay for me to try YY-CHR out. However when I try to open it up I tell AVG to ignore it but it still won't open up!

So my question is how do I go around this and make it open up? Or should I just trust my antivirus?

Turn it off when you're using YY-CHR :?

I'd go with a trust. Never done me wrong, and apparently not to others wither.

Out of curiosity, what is the name of the trojan Norton claims YY-CHR is? If it is the same name by some strange fluke, try changing the name of the exe (sounds stupid, but I've seen this happen on more than one occasion).

If all else fails though:
1) TileLayerPro
2) TileMolester (molestation never hurt any tiles)
3) Fatilety has some major short comings, but is higly under-rated as well. Worth a try (and I need to add its palette format to SMILE)

Here's an older (third page, so no posting in it!) thread about this.

I found a way around this problem. Here's the simple solution, which will work for the newest version of AVG at least.
