| This is a proper Gold remake. I'm not changing the story or text. But I will add new features etc. Originally I was going to make this hack just for myself, but I decided to share it with the community!
Official Information Below. .::Hack Name::. Pokemon Gold (GXVP) .::Hack Of::. Pokemon Ruby (AXVE) .::Introduction::. A remake of the classic Pokemon Gold (GBC) with new features, up to date GFX and the Return of an old friend.... .:: Same as Pokemon Gold  but a slightly different ending 
::.Screenshots::. Only two as I started hacking it yesterday!

| Dude, I suggest not changing the gamecode. I know this from personal experience.
And now that amnesiadust (not talcum powder) has reminded me... SWI Logging is really quite easy, I suggest you assbadgers use it more often! |

| That and mine will lead the way for an open source Pokemon engine so all developers can make their own games. Besides, hacking Ruby alone isn't going to cut it for a true Gold remake. You're missing essential elements and alot of reprogramming would need to be done to the game for it to be nothing more than a simple map hack. Which most people don't realsie when undertaking this project. I realised it, and the amount of overall reprogramming I had to do is what caused be to go bare bones on this project from the ground up. Good luck I guess, but simply hacking the game alone ian't going to cut it for this series. | |||

| I'm progressing greatly in this hack and more screenshots will be added soon. A lot of scripting has to be done, the Sprites have to be changed, Text has to be Edited, And a lot more. But I will finish this project | |||

| If you can actually finish this then you'll earn a lot of respect in my eyes. It's not often somebody finishes a decent pokemon hack. Most people leave it half finished. |
