Yeah, I've already said my thoughts on it. Fast forward is a screwed up power. It needs less suck.

What VCR? I thought these powers are supposed to be inherit to a person?

Wait, if you can interact with things during pause, if you did something perverted wouldn't the person because the active object?

And I take it you get confused quite easily Alastor.

Not normally, actually.

I think it's just the stress of the new year.

Yeah, the usefulness of pause would vary. For it to be really useful, you'd need to be able to un-pause certain objects/people at will so that they could walk around with you. Otherwise you couldn't do much, like if you wanted to drive a car, you'd need to un-pause it first.

And that raises another issue... if you pause in a car, and the car becomes frozen in time, do you fly through the windshield? And if so, wouldn't the shards stay in place?

Yeah but since it is paused you might just hit the windshield and break your neck. But aren't we getting a little bit too technical for this hypothetical situation?

Win

These superpowers are already vaguely defined. If you start thinking through them, you'll realize they're physically impossible! Trying to come up with logical means for them to work is fail. Just take them as described.

But you're not even trying to hide it! You're clearly batman. I mean you're even dressed in full costume, you just have a piece of paper taped to you that says "i'm not batman."
